Great find. I'm going to bring my containers back next week and do some shopping. I also like that money is going to locals rather than the big guys.

Best waste-free shopping experience on the Northern Beaches. The prices for their organic produce are often lower than expected. Opening hours to suit people coming off the ferry after work, and their new ‘Grab & Go’ pre-filled jars save time, too. To top it all, they source products locally where possible. Car park right underneath. Easy as.

So tidy. Reused empty bottles were ready to use. Lots of spicy, granola and so on. Envy that they have this kind of store.

Sustainable shopping indeed, not only without single use plastic container, but also their organic products being good to the soil.
I bought millet, coconut oil and milk powder and etc from the shop, the quality is so good and they smell beautiful.

This is such a great shop. Lots of fab products - including fresh organic milk that goes in byo bottles. I love avoiding packaging and supporting a community business.

Just so grateful that you guys still keeping the store open to serve us and support so many other small business that deal with you from the growers and producers end. It is again challenging time for us all and you are doing an amazing job for our wide community!! And keeping everything sterilize and safe for us to feel comfortable. Thank you!!

I love this shop. I have been shopping here for years. The choice of products is great, fruit and veggies always fresh and an amazing range of grains and nuts. Plus, so easy to shop waste-free and very friendly staff

The best shop in Manly. More than a shop, it's a great community. Not-for-profit, organic food and no plastic: better for your wallet, for your health and for the world. I can't believe people post bad reviews for the mask rules...

Love this shop , During the public orders I had Exemption not to wear a mask.
I showed the staff a copy of my exemption and were still happy to look after me.
I also work in Disability services , I know not all Disabilities or Medical conditions were included in a Exemption guidelines and was actually hard to get one, as it had to be done by Medical specialist or Disability provider. The rules actually changed in Middle of the orders as people with no disability or Medical disorders were abusing the exemption rules.
So if people had Exemption it would of been easier to show a copy of it, I understand this can make people feel uncomfortable about publicity disclosing this information, but the staff were lovely by being discreet about it and my privacy was respected.
I also know Businesses could ask to see the exemption and its consumers right to refuse not show it.
But under the under the Work,Health and Safety Act , businesses could refuse you entering.
The Coop were only following the Public Health orders like very other business to prevent being shut down and fined.

We absolutely LOVE our local Manly Coop. Staff are always so friendly and helpful, and as we are in the midst of lockdown the Coop have always ensured the safety and health of their customers and staff by adhering to Covid safe measures (thank you!!) I know when we are shopping at the Coop, we are not only supporting a small local business but a community that shares the same values as us when it comes to shopping local and also plastic free. Love all the handmade soaps, fresh bread, local coffee ... everything they source is top quality.

This shop is simply amazing, and very sustainable for the future. What I really like about the place...
1) Strictly only organic products
2) No plastic bags and bring your own containers policy
3) Located in beautiful Manly near the beach (even closer im 2019 with the new premises)
4) Affordable supplies (and you can earn discount points by volunteering your time)
5) Its a true community, where you have a role and a voice.

Best place for fresh organic veggies and fruit!! All items are priced reasonably allowing everyone to chance to enjoy organic, local produce. I love supporting this place as it helps the environment with encouraging shopping bags, produce bags and jars. Wish there was more stores like this ! The staff are also super lovely, kind and helpful!!!!

Such a great shop in downtown Manly! I’m so happy to see local community effort towards sustainability. They have loads of plastic free options! Plus they offer bulk items so you can fill your own reusable containers. Shops like these are the answer to our pollution problem!! Definitely the best option in town for cutting down your waste!

This little haven nourishes my soul on so many levels. There is always an abundance of fresh locally grown clean food on offer and a huge array of bulk products such as dry food goods, oils, vinegars and sauces, as well as household cleaning and personal care prodcuts. The staff are so friendly and helpful, as are the team of volunteers all of whom work from a place of passion and committment to the wellbeing of our community and our planet. Thank you for your continual efforts to keep the shop open for us all...we are grateful.

Excellent range of nuts, seeds, grains, pulses, legumes and dried fruit. Pricey fresh fruit and veg. Lovely staff and beautiful shop. You can pick up interesting things like tiered lunch boxes, reusable beeswax sheets for covering food, bamboo toothbrushes, etc. I especially love their coconut milk and vegan treats in the cabinet.

I am so grateful to access package free organic produce anytime of the week. If I forget a container, they've got spares! Thank you to all of the staff who have been warm and welcoming, and particularly considerate with covid restrictions!

Unmatched source of a huge range of organic & healthy foods in the local suburbs! Recently re-fitted.

Being a cooperative - run by volunteers - it has a distinctly eco look & feel, and you can expect friendly chit-chat if you're into that.

Due to the no waste philosophy, you'll find no excess plastic wrapping, and instead, find donated clean jars for you to take away liquids, grains, etc - if you don''t re-use your own.

It's open to all, but it's worthwhile paying a small fee to join to get discounts, or to volunteer to get big discounts.

Eat well, live well and connect with new friends in your community...

I can’t believe how affordable the prices are compared to other bulk food shops! A pleasant surprise. Loads of variety of teas, herbs, spices etc. Not as much on the fresh fruit and veg front but I’m here for the superfoods 😅

Amazing place to get food without the plastic. The milk is genius and honestly got me questioning why It had taken me so long to revert back to re-useable containers. Easily can buy 50-60% of weekly groceries here without having to buy from next door.

Love this place for its eco friendly/zero waste, organic groceries and the work they do for the environment and local community. The store has everything needed (including free repurposed jars and boomerang bags for when I forget to bring mine), but is conveniently located next door to a big supermarket if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
