We had a lovely group work lunch here and it was excellent. The food was delivered so quickly and it was quality. Will definitely dine here again when I'm back in Sydney. Highly recommend for those who haven't been. Also recommend to try the peking duck and the chicken wings as well as the crispy pork belly.

The best dimsum place I have ever been in Sydney. The dimsum taste so authentic and well seasoned. Especially impressed by the rice noodle roll. The rice noodle layer is so thin but soft and smooth. The prawn inside is fresh and big too. Even the veggies are perfectly cooked. I can tell the chef is experienced and used the proper Cantonese way to prepare the dish.

One of the best Cantonese food in Sydney. They have monthly special orders in addition to the regular menu, so going frequently will still allow you to find new dishes and most new dish are of very high quality, making you want to go just to try what’s new! Had steamed eel the other day and it was the best I’ve ever had, that’s counting Hong Kong and China!

I don't know why the star rating is low. I ordered a few more items, but I ate them all before taking pictures hahaha😅. Delicious and reasonable price. It was a happy lunch time.

Greenwood chinese is a great chinese restaurant for dinner. Service can be hit and miss though, on the night I was there , we ordered quite a few dishes. Some came and tasted delicious but an hour and a half later we were informed three of your choices ran out : the pipis, the char siu and another dish. Disappointing .
They serve some oitstanding dishes though, like the free range chicken ( very tasty) , the grilled octopus ( outstanding) and the scallops with snow crab ( with a subtle chinese wine, also outstanding )
Recommended , but hope the service improves next time !

Great place for YumCha. Delicious Dim Sum tasting like traditional Cantonese food. Most importantly, the price is highly affordable and the staffs are very friendly.
But I really hope their menus can be more varied.

Food was great. I went on a Sunday morning at 10.30am when they opened for their yum cha service. Seating was fast and food was brought to the table pretty quickly. I had the congee, chicken bean curd rolls, prawn and scallop dim sim, prawn rice noodle rolls, the garlic beef tripe and chicken feet. Everything was pretty tasty. You order by marking down on a piece of paper and they bring it out on a cart. By the time I left at 11.30 it was getting a little busy so you might need to book if you're aiming for a seating around noon. You're best bet is calling after they've opened at 10.30am for a Sunday.

Each of the dishes was of high quality, the waiters were great, and the restaurant was nice, clean and felt of high quality (right down to the heavier cutlery, nice crockery and smartly dressed staff).

Strategically located in the heart of North Sydney. t's a family favourite for yumchar and dinner. Their staffs are very friendly and helpful. Their dim sum is one of the best in North Shore. Also, they served excellent roasted pork, Peking Duck, fresh seafood and others Cantonese dish. During dinner, they will served complimentary Cantonese soup before the meal ,fruits and red bean soup for dessert. Free parking with ticket validation in the restaurant on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Fantastic yum cha, all made fresh to order and COVID safe. No wait at noon on a week day. Good variety of dimsum offerings and some more unusual options such as the cheese lava prawn balls (delicious!). Perfect egg tarts. With 2 hours free parking on a week day, it's super convenient.

For family dinners on the lower North Shore this is our go to place for true Cantonese cuisine.

Sweet and sour pork is finely made with no heavy batter but melt in the mouth sweet and sour balanced taste.

While yum cha is good too but must have reservations if you are not a regular. So go early.

One of the few places we always eat in Sydney when we stop by. I was from HK so I can tell you this Cantonese restaurant is actually better than most in HK now if comparing with Cantonese restaurants with similar set up and price range. It is also cleaner than most places in Chinatown. I saw some reviews gave it one star for the service so I am giving it a 5 to balance it out.

It's established, great food and I know my Chinese Food extremely well and they totally nail it.

LOVE THEIR WORK and loved their Yumcha!

We went for yum cha and wasn’t disappointed! The best were the rice rolled prawn spring roll and the sesame seed rolls, both are worth coming back for. Everything else was above average and serving sizes were big! We arrived at 12:45 on a Saturday so it was busy and it took about 20 min to be sat. Once ordered, we waited 30 min for our food so a bit slow on the service. Overall we were very happy with the food so the slow service was forgotten.

Highly recommend this place. Delicious Nd authentic Cantonese restaurant. Attentive staff and very friendly.

My regular yum cha place and their deep fried combination balls are the best (sticky rice with pork fillings).
They recently introduce a new menu. The wagyu beef pan fried buns and prawn spring rolls wrapped with rice noodle are highly recommended.

If you're looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine in Sydney, look no further than this restaurant. The menu is extensive, and everything we ordered was simply delicious. There are two dishes that made my day; Salt Pepper Noodlefish plus the Prawn and Spinash Dumplings. Well done.

Love the yumcha!! Cheaper price compares to city. Best part is they take order instead of letting people wait for trolley, very efficient approach especially after we experienced many terrible service at other places

Best Chinese BBQ in Sydney. Generous portions, great service, I think they got even better after renovation.
