Cardwell Van Park

Friendly service, amenities were extremely clean and tidy. close to the Main Street for the pub and a meal. Powered site for two nights over xmas, extremely quite. Was told of the safe watering holes for the dogs to swim, which they loved, 36c xmas day. Shaded sites for caravans, although the mangos make a bang when they drop. We definitely stay again.

What a beautiful park!! This place is so peaceful, clean, beautifully maintained. The gardens are meticulously kept with leaves raked up daily. Bins are emptied regularly. Bathrooms spotless…even fresh flower/foliage arrangements!! The owner Colin is extremely friendly and helpful. He walks every new customer to their site and helps with parking. All sites have access to the parks tv antenna service. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a great caravan park! Colin, his dog Meg and of course the "managing director" Boots are friendly and welcoming. Boots is probably the better singer out the three.
I had a powered site for my tent at the best time of the year, just as it settled down from the peak into that which comes after.
Walking distance from shops, beach and the one and only place in town to get fish and chips; Terry and Mamika's.

Amenities excellent spotlessly clean, including laundry. Dump point easy to find bins emptied regularly, plenty of them. One of the best parks we have stayed in on our 3mth holiday. Highly recommend. Even got a drive through 🤫 site.

Great caravan park sites are large and shady. Manager help park the van, great job. Ammenities are A1 new and clean.
Great location, train noise occasionally but not an issue.

Small park in a peaceful location close to the main street, the esplanade and full views across to beautiful Hinchinbrook island.
Saff are friendly and accommodating. Amenities were spotless.

Love it. Colin the owner/manager is super friendly and helpful and guides you into your site with a smile. It's lovely and quiet amd tropical. No pool but doesn't worry us on our 3 night stay. There's a public pool around the corner. The sights are a good size and a lot have concrete slabs.
The Marine hotel is about 1.2km walk and the atmosphere and meals are fantastic. Situated directly opposite the water and Hinchinbrook Island. Put Cardwell on your itinerary... definitely worth it 👌

Fabulous park. Spacious sites surrounded by well maintained gardens. Very clean amenities. Short stroll into town. Colin, (owner) spot on guide to parking van. Us ladies are off the hook...ha!

Great place to stay, away from main highway and cheaper than caravan parks on highway. Manager is friendly and cheerful. Runs a tidy, clean park. Shed loads of shade for summer.

Great Van Park. Very friendly. Amenities were very clean and tidy. Our en-suite cabin was incredibly clean and tidy and well equipped, and prices reasonable.
The Van Park was quiet and even though it was, thankfully, off the noisy main highway, it was only a short walk to the beach and shops. Will be definitely staying again!

Super friendly manager, lovely clean amenities. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. We had our doggy with us as it was unplanned stay, accident closed the highway to Ingham, so were supplied towels and soap also. Quiet park, far enough away from highway . Definitely recommend.

Quite crowded, but with reasonable sized sites we don't feel squeezed. The other park residents are very friendly and helpful. There is a well appointed camp kitchen and after travelling in the west the lush green palms are so refreshing.

We travelled up by coach to Cardwell, and the Van park was only a short walk from the stop. The park was cleanly presented and our hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. A great spot to base oneself before, and after, heading over to Hinchinbrook Island.

This park would have to have the best and cleanest amenities block I have ever seen. The management were very easy to get along with and helpful in every possible way. I cannot recommend them strongly enough and will definitely be back. Thanks Col for making us feel so welcome!
