Stopped by on our FNQ road trip in this town. Gorgeous town with that amazing view!! Ordered ourselves pies and the butterfly cupcake.. the best pie ever! And the cupcake was just perfect with real cream! They are a bit pricey but with top one quality, its worth the money!! Highly highly recommended! The whole town has a good feeling!

Real cream in the cakes and sweets with good serving sizes. Well filled tasty pies and somehow the bread always seams to stay fresh for days. Always pick up a few loafes on our way through the coast and always happy when still soft and fluffy a few days later, good quality ingredients makes such a difference!

The pies were terrific . The pastry one of the best I’ve had. Cakes and coffee good . Microwaving quiche unfortunately makes the pastry soft . Filling in spinach feta really tasty.

Just stopped on our way thru town for coffee and muffin and a pie... delicious! 😋 thankyou

By far the best bakery in North Queensland. Sausage Roll in flaky puff pastry was superb. Breakfast pie is a must for any visit. We also got some takeaway pies to cook in the oven at home, and again great quality and taste. Finally try the Swan with custard and creme in choux pastry. Plus a collection of great sweet treat. Plus bread.

Passing through on our family trip from FNQ. Despite being very early in the morning these guys were open and had a great selection of bakery goods available already! Staff were friendly and patient whilst we looked at all the food. If you're passing through check this bakery out, you wont be disappointed ;)

We are from South Africa and touring Australia. We stopped at the bakery to get pies for us as we were quite hungry. It is the best pie that I have ever had in my 72 years of life. Thank you, it was great.

Without a doubt the best sausage roll of our trip. Perfect pastry! Exactly what one expects from a sausage roll and more!! Thanks Cardwell Bakery! The view wasn’t bad either 😳

I had a long black and it was fairly good, although a little weak for my taste.
I didn't have anything to eat but there was a good selection of nice looking pies, sandwiches and desserts.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Outdoor seating has a lovely sea view.

Be sure to stop off here, you eillNOT be disappointed!

Amazing pies! I wish I took a picture: the pastry was perfectly flaky, the pie was full of meat and mushroomy goodness. Seriously the best pie I have had in a long time 🥧 (passionate fruit slice was incredible too!).

I hope that one day we can pass through Cardwell and grab something from this bakery again! Delicious, small-town bakery food (the best kind). We had sausage rolls, bacon & cheese rolls, hedgehog slice, a custard tart & drinks that you can only purchase in qld!

Plus - it would have to have the best view in the entire world! What other bakery faces onto beachfront?

Fabulous food ... a great lunch stop.
My ham, salami and salad roll was fresh, moist and delicious. The quiche Lorraine was yum too as was the sausage rolls. Unfortunately no spare space to try their mouthwatering desserts. We'll have to keep that wonderful experience for our next visit.

Mistake. We just 😍 love your coffee, pies and pastries. Google showed us the picture of the cafe on the corner with the big red crab on it and said to review it. It has kids working and serving, doing hot coffee and servicing the tables. Young ones 7 and 9. 🤪. So please take up your picture with Google. 5 star food and service from your shop. 10/10 ❣💖🙏

Excellent pies. Flaky top with lots of flavours available. I had the beef and mushy peas which I highly recommend. All my companions enjoyed their choices as well.

Definitely would recommend a stop to the bakery.
Only disappointment they had no vanilla slices,last visit had one,would have to be the most gorgeous vanilla slice I have had.

Stopped in on way to Townsville from Mission Beach. Had a potato pie and a bacon cheese and beef pie. These pies are the best I've ever had. OMG Better than Beefys..good big chunky meat pies with flaky pastry..not over priced..fresh as..
Service was great. Went across road to enjoy these beauties..

Best chicken curry pies, loaded with chunks of moist lumps of meat, delicious sweet curry sauce with crispy flaky pastry & hot good quality coffee we've had in a long time.

OMG the yummiest pies and bakery goodies! One of the best tasting pies we had on our trip around QLD the staff were friendly and it was open nice and early.

Great coffee brilliant coffee best one I’ve had in a long while. Neat little shop good pies good prices. Will be stopping in again for sure.
