Sydney Ultrasound for Women - Kogarah

Couldn't recommend this clinic highly enough, the lady on reception yesterday was so lovely and comforting, she explained everything to me, was so helpful and reassuring as I was nervous for my appt. She really made a difference to how I was feeling. The sonographer & Dr I saw were also super lovely. Overall a really great experience at this clinic.

I had Vanessa as my sonographer, she is the Best I've ever had. Vanessa is professional, gentle, and positive. She also explained everything clearly. The experience was perfect. It took us 1.5hr to get to the clinic but it was totally worth the drive because of Vanessa.

A big thank you to the lady who helped me with the blood test today. She was so patient and had great skills to make the whole procedure not painful at all. Being a person who is really scared of needles, I’m so appreciative of her help. 🥺

I would like to say thank you to the receptionist and Katherine (the one who did ultrasound for me). I forgot to ask the name of the receptionist. She was so nice. I came too early for the appointment but she did try her best to sort out the slot for me.

About Katherine, she's the best one ever. I've done ultrasound so many times before and this time is the best experience ever. Katherine is very nice, patient, careful and look after me and the baby really well. She made me feel so comfortable and the photos of my baby are very clear. She is so experienced and sweet.

I had a wonderful experience at Sydney Ultrasound for Women in Kogarah. From the moment I booked the appointment, Alice was exceptionally friendly and patient, taking the time to explain everything. Stephanie, the ultrasonographer, was not only highly skilled but also incredibly caring and kind. In addition to the exceptional service from Alice and Stephanie, I must mention that the receptionists were also lovely. The entire team made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire experience.

I have had my scans done here for both babies. Almost no wait time, very good ultrasound techs, they talk you through what they are doing. Very accomodating re toilet as for some scans you need to drink water and hold it etc and they are very considerate of this and let you go to the loo asap and come back! Great photos captured and given in a little frame.
Great services offered such as scan + harmony -/+ PE risk test.
I always recommend this place. Also they are the 'best' in Sydney when you ask anyone in the industry.

Had my NIPT test here. All the staff were so lovely and kind. Everything was explained in great detail (which was important given this is my first pregnancy) and I was made to feel completely at ease. Fantastic experience. Unlike others, I had a pleasant experience also booking via the call centre.

I had a very painful and invasive scan done here today and the receptionist girl was very lovely and discreet when discuss my appt preparation that I had to do and making sure I was okay when I was leaving. The doctors I had made me feel comfortable and were very considerate and sympathetic to the pain and discomfort I was feeling.

I had my NIPT test and ultrasound done here and the service was absolutely wonderful! Receptionist was so lovely, Pam who did my ultrasound explained everything so well and was very friendly, Princess was my blood test consultant who was also so friendly and explained everything so well. My blood test was done so gently and professionally.

I had my NIPT test done here and I had the most lovely experience here. The lady’s are so informative, friendly and helpful! Being my first pregnancy it was so nice to have such positive and caring people around me every step of the way. I definitely recommend this place!

I've consistently found SUFW to be excellent, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my ultrasounds. The receptionists have always been friendly and helpful and the sonographers are very professional, knowledgable and do everything they can to make sure you're comfortable.

Dr Ritu is amazing! I am blessed that I am currently 23wks pregnant and all because Dr Ritu picked up i was going into labour at my 19wk scan, i was rushed to emergency hospital for an emergency surgery, and my baby was able to be saved. She is happy and growing each day! To be thankful is a complete understatement! Reception staff are friendly, helpful and professional.

My only critic is the booking system, it takes ages of waiting on the phone to lock an appt in, however I try and combat that by booking my next appointment when I'm actually at the clinic which works for me.

Overall I definitely recommend this clinic to all expectant mothers.

Don't be put off by the rude call centre staff when you phone to make an appointment. The actual staff at Kogarah are all beautiful. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience with this facility. The staff- everyone, from the sonographers to the ladies at the front desk were very professional, warm, friendly and made it a lovely experience. I went there for all my scans during my pregnancy and for the NIPT test. Worth it. Thank you so much!

I've been here three times and each time all staff have been very pleasant and extremely accomodating (even when I've forgotten my referral!). Sonographers have all been very professional and caring, but particular mention must go to Rachel, who yesterday not only printed off heaps of scans for me and my husband, but also my mum and my sister too, who were present.

Great customer service - I have done most of my ultrasounds through Kogarah with all my pregnancies, they are pricey but worth it. Staff are knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable they explain the entire process while doing the ultrasound which is reassuring.

I had an NIPT carried out at the clinic. Everyone who was involved in the process were all lovely. I had a great experience overall.

Prior to attending I did have some hesitations due to reviews that I had read online, however my experience was fantastic!
Every person I have come in to contact with for my 2 separate appointments had been absolutely lovely and have made me feel very comfortable

I had my 2nd trimester morphology scan done at SUFW Kogarah and I have to say the overall service was great. My husband and I really wanted to record video clips of our baby scan because the previous clinic we went to didn't offer the service so we opted SUFW.

There were some mishaps with the booking and receiving the results but the staff there were quick to rectify the issues, which is what really matters. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The ultrasound technician was enthusiastic and thorough, which I really appreciated. We even got a few printed pictures of the our baby, including the 4D face scan.

Some advice to would-be patients:
- Staff running the Facebook Messenger account for SUFW are very responsive so if you can't get through the phone to ask questions, FB Messenger is your best bet.
- Results are sent to your mobile phone as a link. If you requested video recordings of the scan, it may also be included in the link marked with a "CINE" label (I think this is for the newer machines. I know they used to put the videos on a DVD but I'm not sure if they still do. Receptionists were confused too as this process is new but I think they're all clued in on it now).

We found the ultrasound experience very professional, courteous and informative. Although their systems weren't working and couldn't give us the results immediately, they were very apologetic and did call us soon after we left with results over the phone. Highly recommended and worth the extra cost compared to others.
