Generous portions and great value for very fair prices, relative to other restaurants in the shire. Polite service. Take away came with prawn crackers. Cash discount on take away.

Freshly made and doesn’t taste too greasy like some Chinese can.

Great little restaurant in the main street area if Engadine. Very reasonable prices, great tasting food & very friendly service.

Would recommend coming here for a meal anytime.

I try something different on the menu each time I order takeaway and it is always delicious and copious. Chinese food just as I would eat as a child. I highly recommend it.

love the food, staff are happy and kind, portions are great value.. my only gripe is I wish they were closer lol but we still take the drive just to get their food as it is the best in the sutho shire area and so worth it..

The food is beautiful & not as greasy as a lot of other Chinese restaurants which is very obvious especially when you look in the bottom of the fried rice container. The prices are also great & they give a further 10% discount for cash for take away over $30.

I just read through the comments and can’t believe that the negative one made by Dionne was such a lie …. I have been asking so long why they don’t do deliveroo .. yes and they still don’t do deliveroo … it’s very sad she made such a comment , nothing personal , it’s just not fair for the lovely local business .. they are the best in the Shire , very big portion , and food are delicious !!!!

Excellent local Chinese food. Incredibly affordable - two mains, one entree, large rice and free prawn crackers about $30 when paying cash take-away. Large portions mean an easy second night of food or lunches the next day. Friendly service and no mistakes on the orders.

One of the better take away Chinese restaurants (you can dine in but I think its strengths are in takeaway).
Your dollar goes a long way with a large variety menu of typical 'Aussie-Chinese' food. Staff are always friendly but the wait time can be up to an hour or a Friday or Saturday so order early!

good quantity/price. it gets very busy as it opens. the place isn't too big. their phone is always ringing. they offer 10% discount for take away orders. order in advance to avoid long wait which could easily go over 30 min.

My favourite Chinese place ever. I have alot of Chinese restaurants near me in Sutherland but I will always do the drive to engadine the friendly staff very generous servings with more than adequate amounts of meat in the meals not like some places that load the Vegas with little amounts of meat. Be warned if you want to dine in on Saturday night you should book ahead. But take away is incredible......

Best value Dine In and Takeaway Chinese Restaurant in the area. Meals are tasty and very generous portions, with a variety of vegetables (not just onion). Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

We and friends have been going to Golden Pond for many years and it is our favourite restaurant for value, quality and portion size. They are very friendly and the atmosphere very family oriented. Neil at Engadine.

Good food, cheap prices. I was happy with the service. A bit surprised that not all meals come with vegies (you would expect this from Chinese) but the experience was very positive. Will be back for more.
