Most orders were good but one order chicken udon with noodles was disgusting tasted solely of Smokey bbq sauce and over cooked chicken sent the entire dish back was asked to pick something else which I didn’t want to, they took 10% of the price $1.55 sorry I was a regular diner (not any more) hope you appreciated the $1.55 loss believe me it’s going to cost a lot more in loss revenue going forward. Should have apologised and waved the cost. Since the old owners retired this restaurant has gone down hill. We were the only table on Thursday night. Says it all.

The best sushi in the Sutherland Shire. We have been getting our sushi from here for years and it has never disappoints! Always fresh and delicious. The service is excellent too- delivery is always quick.

Visited with my wife on Friday. Nice place, very tasty food, especially octopus chilli. I've never eaten so tasty and right prepared octopus. Quite a lot of people on Friday night, so booking is recommended. Surely we will come back.

The sushi tasted amazing! Recommend the salmon sashimi and grilled. Loved the freshness and authentic green tea with brown rice.

We love Kanawaka...it is our favourite Japanese in the Sutherland Shire. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant...great service and good prices. Lunchtime menu is also very generous.

Always enjoy coming here. Staff are very friendly, they always give you good smiles. Service was quick and food was excellent! Will definitely come back again.

Nice food, reasonable pricing, good atmosphere, comfy chair(neck restable), quality timber table, clean, nice customer service.
