Have been attending this practice for years. Have mostly been satisfied with the staff and doctors.
It's normal sometimes for clinics to run behind schedule.
So far I've had good results.

Dr Conrad Goonerage was brilliant. Very thorough skin check. Also had three moles removed and he set me at ease for the procedure which was quick and painless.

There was a wait but like most dr's surgeries I had already factored that in, I also called ahead to ensure they were running in time.

The staff are friendly and competent, the waiting times are slightly better than average for a doctor's clinic. No complaints.

All the doctors here are great. The lovely ladies at the front desk are very helpful.

They should rename this place Jamison Clown College because every step of the way has been an absolute circus. Do not go here if you want actual skincare.

Goonerage is a disgrace. He checked me for skin cancer some years ago. I had a mark on my skin. He said it was not skin cancer. Later it turned out to be a cancer. Avoid this guy as he is not competent and his attitude is putrid. He enjoys the expression "when one's time has come" lol. Looking forward to his as he cost me couple of thousand dollars when I had the cancer (infiltrating bcc) removed later.

This practice is out of touch with their clients, rude and ill informed. Drs are very old fashioned and only used to treating the elderly and frail with no care for wait times. 1 hour wait is unacceptable with staff not advising clients of long waits. I only wish I had read the reviews before booking an appointment. Terrible uncaring service. Save yourself the aggrivation. The only reason I gave them 1 start is that you cant post....

My wife and I chose the Jamison Medical Centre after falling pregnant. We hoped for guidance from the practice on the steps we needed to follow during the pregnancy, however have received little to no assistance since day one. Whilst the whole journey was frustrating, We had a booking at 10 weeks pregnant when we were really after some guidance with this being our first child. Even though we have been booked in with one of the GP's for weeks, the GP was not even present on the day and had gone on 2 week's leave (not that reception had informed us) and were presented with a GP from Queensland that knew nothing about us or the Canberra maternity scene. We were still charged for this visit despite not receiving any help or getting any of the referrals we had come in to get. This also meant that we had to wait about 4 weeks to get back in to see our original GP (which feels like a lifetime in your first pregnancy when you are unsure of the steps). To have not even been informed the doctor we are booked in to see is shocking and generally the reception staff couldn't be less enthusiastic and professional. It takes about a fortnight to get an appointment with a specific doctor and once you are booked in the doctors are always late. If you are looking for a medical centre to assist with the beginning of your pregnancy journey I would look elsewhere.

Appointment made for 12.30pm.
30 minutes later, I'm still waiting.
Approached receptionist who told me I was next.
10 minutes later, I was called in.
Turns out it was for a nurse who wanted to take my blood pressure.
I told her not to because it would be higher than normal.
Asked if 40 minutes over was the usual wait time and got a hesitant "Sometimes".
Asked if there was someone to complain to since neither the receptionists nor the nurse saw anything wrong with my having to wait nearly three quarters of an hour over my appointment time and was told I could tell the doctor since I was going in to see her next.
By this time, I was supremely annoyed.
I don't mind waiting, as long as I'm told that the doctor is running late. But neither receptionists were forthcoming. Neither they nor the nurse - who kept going in and out carrying disposable coffee cups and magazines - were in any way sympathetic with the wait times.
This leads me to believe that a long wait time is normal. Why make appointment times at all if they can't be kept? Unprofessional!
This also leads me to believe that the staff are all apathetic to patients' needs. Great industry to be in when you're like a robot.
Don't waste your time here - find somewhere else more professional and prompt.

I have dealt with this clinic 3 times and I always leave dissatisfied and bewildered a business could run as it does. I called up asking if the do photo dynamic therapy (PDT). Not only did the receptionist not know, when she as a colleague she said yes but we call it mole mapping. Please research for yourself the difference between the two. I would never recommend this inaccurate place and suggest they teach their front line customer service people about what the business there in actually does. This was really poor and incorrect advice.
