Ondine - European Brasserie

An excellent experience overall. This restaurant stands out as one of the few in Canberra offering French grilled snails, providing a unique opportunity to savor this delicacy. Additionally, the other dishes, such as the chicken, potato, and ratatouille, were all outstanding in terms of taste, portion size, and presentation. The attention to detail in the design of each dish was remarkable and definitely worthy of recommendation.

Amazing food, everything was so rich and delicious. Really lovely restaurant, ambiance and really enjoyed everything. Nice friendly service too. We absolutely will be back one day soon!

Great food and atmosphere. Friendly service. Most of our group ordered from a good value for money 3 course special Christmas menu. Each course was delicious.

What can I say, the best traditional French restaurant in Canberra. From the traditional French onion soup to beef bourguignon. It is like you are going home to mum’s comfort food.. where mum just so happens to be a traditional French chef.

Pate is a feature, tartare special was amazing - textural and served at the correct temperature. Friendly staffing, not too noisy, extensive and reasonably priced wine list, and good for value food.

Oh, and the cassoulet is amazing too!

Loved this restaurant. Food is fabulous. It isn't cheap but it's definitely good value. Staff were very polite and ambience welcoming. Highly recommend.

Amazing food, fabulous service, absolutely couldn't fault it!
They were so accommodating of our little baby.
The pork rack was a meal that will stay in my memory for a long time. The meat was melt in your mouth and the sides complimented it so well.
The kingfish starter was fresh and a wonderful way to begin.

We had the mother's day menu. I had beetroot entree - delicious, salad dressing is amazing, salmon cooked to perfection, wth apple & fresh fennel salad, panacotta wth figues, amazing plum confiture,
tuille to die for! The creamy, the spice & the crunch, were a magnificent combination, top score from me!

Such a beautiful array of exquisite foods and wines were offered for New Year's Eve dinner. Outstanding friendly, and professional staff made for such a fantastic night.

Had a great night for our wedding anniversary. Was seated at the bar which had a great atmosphere, had great service from the staff and the head chef! Ordered the banquet which was very well priced for the amount of food we had. Awesome beer on tap too! Will be going back there again!

Surprisingly, lovely size meals with a taste that surpassed my expectations. Lovely vibe and ambience. Our lovely waiter, Callum was very personable and intuitive. He read the table well and everything for a birthday dinner ran smoothly and was absolutely wonderful.

One word? Spectacular. Ondine has without a doubt been my favourite dining experience in all of Canberra. The food is inarguably amazing of which was presented in a gorgeous manner by marvellous staff in the most divine setting. If you have the opportunity to take advantage of the chef's skills, I suggest you book a table!

I've ordered takeaway from Ondine twice now, and I could not be more impressed. Must-trys include their arancini balls, potato gratin, and creme brulee. My family and I agree they're the best we've tried in Australia! Give them a go, you definitely won't regret it
