Had a minor procedure performed by Joanna Hawke and cannot recommend her highly enough. I was fearful of the process but she spoke kindly and was extremely patient as she talked me through the whole process. She went above and beyond what was expected. Again, I could not speak more highly of her!

All the staff are great. They deal with a large volume of patients and enquiries, and the negative reviews above seem not to take these conditions into account. What a privilege to have trained doctors on hand.

Friendly and helpful counter staff! Great doctor too! The reception is just bad inside but that is probably just interference from either medical devices.

Had a very positive experience stafhere. Receptionist were very helpful and there is a user-friendly check-in kiosk when you arrive. Doctor was very thorough. My one complaint is that I can't seem to figure out how to call the clinic directly. I tried to ring up about 10 times today to check if my results were in and each time it rang out after a few minutes. It appears you get routed through the main Co-op system even when you enter the code for ANU and then it does not give you an option to leave a message. Hopefully they just need to work the kinks out

I love the Doctors they’re absolutely lovely! But the receptionists without fail are so rude and patronising every single time. As someone who also works in the healthcare field, if you all hate your jobs that much then maybe it’s not the one for you, and you should get one that doesn’t require kindness, empathy or providing assistance. Please do better, I get you deal with a number of people who can be incompetent, rude or a pain (so do I, but still treat them with kindness) but the constant rudeness is just unacceptable and unnecessary.

Why is everyone here so rude for like no reason? Can’t there just be some human decency? It doesn’t cost anything to be kind!

Can someone please tell me whether the short brown hair (or mullet hair) lady (likely to be the person wearing yellow mask in the photo) is still in the reception? I’m thinking of seeing a GP but I don’t want to see her again because she got me traumatised. She was so rude and arrogant!!! The worst receptionist ever!!!

Imagine being paid 30 and hour to answer phone calls and bash away dates into a computer, but you can't even do that. I had to go there just to get told to call on the phone. I can literally see you at the reception though?? If you don't want to book my appointment just say so 😂 what a joke. Utter waste of space on campus.

To the receptionist, please work anywhere but the medical centre. I'm sure socialist alt would love to have you.

The receptionist was mean and unfriendly. After hearing I had cold they appeared to be shocked, but we were at a safe distance and they had shields, and I have informed I had a negative COVID self-test result. I did not book and they informed me there could be a slot at 1pm today, but after 2 mins they told me the earliest slot would be next Monday. However, the lobby was actually almost empty, with only one patient waiting here. In general this experience was just totally wasting my time. Just go to Bel or Dickson walk-in centres and the staff here would be much better and more friendly.

After traversing the atroctious customer service and egregious waiting times, Dr Wilhem Anell ended up completely wasting my time. He gave me a list of specialist names to call and insisted I didn't need a referral (I do). Now I'm expected to wait a month for another appointment just so he can write me a piece of paper. Awesome. He didn't even blood test me for half the things we spoke about. Not worth the wait, especially with how many medical clinics exist in the Canberra CBD. Just go elsewhere.

ANU medical clinic is the worst clinic I have ever experienced. The receptionist is so rude and wasn't able to understand what appointment I needed. When I was finally able to see Dr Craig Corr about mental health I was questioned why I was in the clinic, laughed at and did not receive the referral. I left feeling so horrible and upset. I would expect SO much more from a university service, this needs to be taken upon seriously as this service could have serious effects on students mental health.

Been here before a couple of times last year and had a good experience but this time I left wanting to cry. The receptionist was so rude for no reason and the doctor couldn’t care less. It said he had knowledge of women’s health on his profile but when I told him about my problem (which is not that unique) he said he ‘didn’t know what to do’ and gave me a couple of referrals that will ‘cost me money’. When I asked him about health insurance if it costs money he said ‘I don’t know I don’t work in insurance’. It was super condescending and rude. I don’t know how people like this are working in a facility that caters to students who obviously don’t have a lot of money or options. I left feeling super upset and it totally ruined my day. I would rather pay money than visit this clinic again. ANU should be doing better for it’s students.

I've been to the ANU clinic multiple times and have been very disappointed every time. The receptionist and doctor that i saw was extremely rude and dismissive. I waited over a week to get an appointment and then when I finally went the doctor made me rebook and wait another 2 weeks as the slot I was given wasn't long enough. Reception was no help and I really struggled making myself go back.

I wish I have more choices where to go seeking medical assistance. The GP’s are all great, the older lady at reception is always nice and lovely but what s wrong with the young receptionist there (especially the one with mullet hairstyle)? (Wondering if those newcomers getting a proper training to deal with customers or not?)Sadly people received this rudeness at health clinic at campus. I hope this clinic will bring back the self check-in, rather dealing with the rude receptionists
