A visit to Lambshed for their Monthly Sunday Roast was a feast for the senses. Despite it being a bustling day, the staff managed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere - the perfect remedy for a cold Canberra winter day.

The communal dining style elevated the experience. The dishes were plentiful and introduced surprising yet delightful combinations. Whether you're an adventurous eater or prefer the classics, there's something for everyone.

The service was commendable, with the staff showing utmost professionalism. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home. The price might seem high initially, but it's well justified by the quality and quantity of food offered.

The highlight of the experience was undeniably the joyful company. It's the perfect place to catch up with friends over hearty food. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal and is keen to return, making us consider becoming regulars.

Overall, Lambshed's Monthly Sunday Roast comes highly recommended for its great food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. It's well worth the visit for a wholesome Sunday lunch experience.

We attended the monthly Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. A welcoming price point and enough interesting plates through the set menu offering to have us return quickly.

Interior felt like a wine bar in Barcelona with the beautiful shelves of wine bottles. The sound treatments meant that the busy restaurant was not roaring, and the space supported quiet conversation.

Service was wonderful, however not all the staff knew the wine list well enough to make recommendations.

Food was exceptional. Simple with enough flair and interest to satisfy us all. We’ll be back.

First time dining here since it opened quite a few years ago. Decided to return to celebrate a birthday/ anniversary. Pleasantly surprised. Consise and well executed food and wine menus. Classic dishes with exciting twist that are well executed. Very good service. I would recommend this place highly.

Very pleasant. Lovely food but found the cost of some dishes excessive. I would prefer a menu that is not a share menu even though we were told a la carte was available. Even so it was not easy to order based on how the menu was set out.

Visiting Lambshed for the second time was just as wonderful and enjoyable as the first. The food is consistent, delicious, satisfying and some of the best food I've tried in a while. The wait staff are professionally friendly and accommodating and the vibe of the venue is relaxed yet sophisticated.
Some stand out dishes include the Ricotta Gnocchi, King Brown mushroom and Celeriac (definitely on my list of favourite dishes) and the Eggplant Tempura and Miso.
It's the perfect place to catch up with foodie friends and order a range of dishes to enjoy with the decent range of wines on offer.
It's a special place that deserves the credit for truly tasty food and great service.

Lamshed’s is my favorite restaurant in Canberra so far. The ocean trout tartare was perfect and the best highlight of the night was the rib eye steak! We love everything in Lamshed’s. Thanks for the wine recommendation.

I can not fault this place. Food was absolutely wonderful, all dishes were well balanced and showcased the flavours of the produce perfectly. Excellent drinks menu. Great interior and well thought out use of space. Service was attentive, relaxed and informative. Perfect new place to eat, can’t wait to go back.

The food here during lockdown has been of a much higher standard than most other restaurants, so well done guys. For food close to being considered fine dining quality, it's not easy to serve in a take away container (I plated those at home). Definitely would recommend! Yours truly @fooderarri

I visited for dinner with a couple of colleagues and had a table in the far corner. We had the wait staff select a selection of dishes for us and it was all immaculately prepared. They also recommended a matching bottle of wine which paired well with all the dishes. The staff are friendly and efficient - without ever being overbearing. Overall a great experience.

Ate here today for Sunday lunch and it was top drawer. The food was imaginative and very tasty, lovely relaxed atmosphere, but the thing that was really notable was Matthew, the Maitre d'. From the moment we arrived he was totally tuned in to our needs, attentive without being invasive and I watched him subtlety take care of every cover in the restaurant, about 50 people today. You know when you are struggling to get anyone's attention, offered menus with food on that proves to be unavailable, left to wait for what seems like hours for food or drink ... Well this was not that! Everything ran like clockwork. Rare to find a combination of such excellent food and impeccable service. We wil be back!

I have been wanting to come here for a long time and glad I finally did! Really enjoyed my birthday lunch here.
The food was exceptional -Shout out to the zucc flowers stuffed with goats cheese and the orange and fennel salad. As was the service by Jeff - His recommendation about the Spanish vermouth was a hit.
I absolutely will be back again.

Sensational early week work dinner. Chef's choice of dishes. Wow!!! Delicious!! Service was super attentive but not intrusive. Will be back for date night 😉

Sparkling new Restaurant in Yarralumla.. innovative exciting food by Head Chef, Jeffery Lamshed.. service great.. share plates.. Special 6 oysters and glass sparkling from 3-5pm $20.. fantastic value. My standout selections were the delicious char-grilled octopus with potato, lemon & paprika; and the spiced lamb ribs, sumac onion & lemon.. highly recommend

Every suburb deserves a restaurant like Lamsheds! The food was so damn delicious! There is a great well thought out and priced wine list, lovely service and a wonderful convivial atmosphere. Can’t recommend this place enough!

not too fancy, always perfectly executed and delicious food (whilst still being pretty healthy:).

Had a wonderful meal. Relaxed welcoming vibe. Wonderful friendly wait staff. Food was sublime. Can't wait to go again. Already planning another reason to celebrate and return.

Delicious food, excellent service. Very accommodating to adjust meals to suit GF (coeliac) needs.
