Next Gen Canberra

A positive experience since joining in June!
I've been thoroughly enjoying my classes, particularly those with Angie and Marcus. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and professional. Marcus, my personal trainer, demonstrates impressive skills in stretching and strengthening exercises tailored to support my scoliosis. I also appreciate the welcoming atmosphere of the cafe, where I can leisurely enjoy my coffee between classes. The pools, toilets, and changing rooms are consistently well-maintained. Keep it up Next Gen!

I joined next gen after being gifted a 10 pass voucher. I was impressed with the quality of the facilities, especially the gym, pool, spa and sauna.

Next Gen does a proper induction, physical assessment and tailored program with regular reviews, which i would expect from any gym but is sadly neglected by many.

Having the option of ample free parking and an on site cafe with reasonable prices makes it convenient for me to go in the morning before work.

Any feedback I have had is acknowledged and addressed promptly by the staff.

I've tried out most gyms in Canberra: Club Lime, Anytime Fitness and Fitness First and Next Gen really stands out to me. The customers are the most polite, clean and friendly. Staff are attentive and enthusiastic. The pool and spa are the best quality and much less busy. Parking is easy. I also get good work done in the cafe, and the food is great, so I find it convenient to come in during working hours. Here I look forward to going for a workout rather than seeing it as a chore.

Just wanted to share a review for my personal trainer at Next Gen specifically - Marcus. He is the best PT I've ever had, he was not just a great motivator but shared such great insights into physiology and helped me with specific issues relating to my injuries from motorcycle and rugby accidents. He is knowledgeable, dedicated, positive and goes the extra mile. The gym are lucky to have him there and I would recommend his PT services to anyone.
For the gym, I appreciate the modern machinery, the two pools on offer, the tennis courts and free wifi facilities. Only negative feedback would be that the classes are overcrowded and when one of my favourite machines was damaged, it took too long to repair it.

LOVE Next Gen! Beautiful, clean, well equipped. Great variety of classes with lots of time slots available. Fully equipped free and pin loaded weights area. Stretching area and plenty of cardio equipment. Group exercise rooms are nice and shiny too. Tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pool. Tennis, squash courts. Sauna, Steam Room and Spa pool thing. Cafe serves lovely food and even has a wine selection. Excellent nail salon downstairs (ask for Elena, although a seperate business). Kids area and a great comfy, wifi connected lounge. Lots of free parking. Staff are helpful, kind and professional. Is a little more $ than the more generic gyms, but you get so much more. Would 100% recommend!

Great experience, love the gym - best gym in the ACT; cafe is really nice, classes, instructors and equipment is great too; pool lovely to have in summer and love coming here.

I have been in Next Gen for several months.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They are attentive to customers’s needs and respond quickly.

The pool is not too deep, you can do a variety of exercises. Eg: Aqua, rehab and swimming. The spa is so good that you can massage different parts of your body after workout, which is very relaxing.

Marcus is a very good trainer. He explains to me clearly how to use exercise equipments safely. Eg: how to start, how long, which machine suits me best to avoid injury.
He reviews my exercise program monthly and tells me which areas I need to improve. He trains me how to do stretching with a foam roll so that my muscles can become more flexible. This will enable me to do more exercise classes in the near future.

I would like to thank Next Gen and the staff for the services they provide.

Much needed spot for Canberra, there's not many sports complexes here or maybe that's the only one with these facilities. If you come from a different state, this is your go to if u are an active person and appreciate great food.

Love, love my gym, a great group of welcoming regulars, and the les mills' trained instructors and classes are fantastic and fun, I do lots of classes from yoga to water aerobics to grit to body pump. I look forward to going to the gym!!

The gym staff are all very welcoming too and the cafe has a great chef and member discounts on dinners which helps if you're pushed for time to cook.

Glad to have found a social gym that makes it easier for me to feel good about my fitness path and help it become possible.

I have only had good experiences attending this gym. I love that it caters to mature aged members with great variety in classes and excellent instructors who are very helpful. The gym maintains a great level of cleanliness.
Through a booking I was given a tour of all the facilities and offered a discount on membership as a health care

Really happy with the gold membership here at next gen, the spa is very relaxing and the whole place is very welcoming. Highly recommend

Sophiya’s coffee is worth coming for alone! I’ve been a member since the gym opened and Sophiya’s coffee has been perfect every single time. :)

I love NextGen. I wake up looking forward to going to my exercise classes. Excellent facility with exceptional staff.

Such a welcoming environment for people who haven't got a lot of experience in the gym. The trainers are incredibly friendly and always available if you need a hand with anything around the gym. The facilities are modern and clean and everybody is very diligent with cleaning equipment after use. Highly recommend!

For over a year long membership with Next Gen Canberra, my body lost about 10% fat and improved on inBody scan score upto my satisfactory level. And I'm confident to say that Next Gen is the best serviced gym in Canberra based on my years experiences with other gyms nearby. Equipments are well maintained, staffs are friendly, cafe has been family friendly, nice indoor & outdoor pool and childcare facility and more. I wish the gym very best of luck working through this pandemic period.

Fantastic modern, clean facility with friendly staff. Lots of group fitness class options and times available, and a great range of good quality equipment. The indoor and outdoor pools are also great, and the spa and sauna area are bliss!

I love Next Gen Canberra. Staff are friendly and helpful. Place is kept well and has all the facilities of a good Health club. The club is kids friendly. Recommend it to everyone.

I love the squash courts of next gen. Best courts of Canberra. There spa section is amazing for relaxing.
