Capital Pathology Deakin

I had a really good experience at Capital Pathology Deakin. I made sure that I checked the busy times on Google. When I arrived, the receptionist was efficient. It was 23rd December. I had a short wait time and was attended by Kenya. Kenya was friendly, caring and professional. When I came out the waiting room was full. I can only recommend to check the busy times on Google for a better experience .. I felt the staff were great. Thank you.

Attended late afternoon and was seen within 5mins. Efficient, professional service with a smile, and great phlebotomy technique.

Mikaela went above and beyond and was one of the most skilled blood collectors I’ve had. She even printed off the referral forms I needed for my other appointment. Thank you so much!

Very fast, efficient service, the staff ( Irwin, hopefully I spelled his name right) is very nice. This is the best experience so far with Capital Pathology.

To the guy earlier around 5:20pm thank you! i know u guys are about to close but still let me do my blood work. to the other person, i know u wanted to go home and i got really no comment coz it would be totally negative. thank you.

Poor customer services,
More than6 ro 7 staff were on duty at the time of my visit, they were idling and just around the reception desk doing nothing rather than chatting.
More than an hour waiting time, not much customer to take care even.

Disappointing experience taking my elderly mother who needed a test done urgently that day. We waited for around one hour. They no longer have a receptionist and one of the technicians was rushing around doing reception between tests. They later complained that they also had to do the cleaning before going home. There was a learner on who was clearly having difficulty taking blood and needed assistance. No modesty measures were taken during an ECG which was upsetting for my mother, and I stopped a male collection driver from walking into the room while the test was taking place. It was a disorganised mess and disrespectful to patients.

One person on with over an hour wait. When I finally had my name called, the woman who was to draw my blood realised she had someone else’s referral and had given mine to the other woman (of the same first name). The woman on shift was rude and disorganised. Will not return to any Capital Pathology centres again after this experience.

Do not go here to get a blood test or ECG. The lady who did my blood test was extremely rude. I asked her if the blood test would make me feel like headed and she replied ‘I don’t know’ and continued to rush through my blood test and was not one bit gentle, I ended up with a bruise down my whole arm which was very sore which does not usually happen to me from blood tests. My ECG was rushed as well and before I even had my shirt or bra back on she walked out of the room and left the door open while I was still half naked. She didn’t even say goodbye when I left. I felt so terrible after this experience and I will never be returning here again nor do I recommend anyone else does.

I went yesterday in capital pathology deakin around 4:30 pm, the staff over there behaved me so rude, mean and loud. She was racist to me just as I had no medicare. I showed her my bupa card but she bothered to check the details from my bupa card.. She literally didn’t want to look through my card.. I came back without having blood test. So racist that staff 😔
Today I did my blood test over Phillip capital pathology where I hv done more than 3 times already.. staff over Phillip capital pathology are so nice and friendly..

If you are going here for pre-departure covid tests don't bother. Got told (when we paid $145 per person for 4 people) that that they don't take bookings anymore. Turned up at Deakin capital Pathology and got told for 4 people that we needed to get booked. Walked out without getting tested despite it being critical for travel to New Zealand (citizen returning home). Was offered the next day to return to be tested, but lost trust. Went to Tuggeranong instead.

The receptionist was super rude and racist to me,

Worst experience ever... extremely rude ladies.. try to avoid this place
