Peppers Gallery Hotel Canberra

Came here for my partners birthday, which the staff had prepared nice surprises.

I like where hot breakfast are made to order.

One thing though, bathroom light is way too dark for make up appliances...

However, overall very nice stay. Thank you 🥰

I've stayed at the Peppers Gallery Hotel several times over the last few months and it has quickly become my go-to hotel in Canberra.
The staff are helpful, friendly and facilitative. On my most recent trip, I really appreciated the call from the hotel with information on late check in and the ease of checking in. The rooms are clean and simple in a unique building with lots of character. The location is also great for meetings in and around Canberra.

My stay at Peppers Gallery in Canberra was a truly pleasant experience. The hotel offers semi-modern rooms that strike a perfect balance between style and comfort. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the spacious bathrooms added to the overall sense of luxury.

However, what made my stay truly memorable was the outstanding service provided by Jin, the manager. Jin's soft-spoken demeanor and his willingness to go above and beyond to assist guests were truly commendable. He was not only extremely helpful but also displayed a guest-focused attitude that made me feel valued and appreciated as a customer.

Jin's exceptional people skills and dedication to ensuring a positive guest experience make him a massive asset to the organization. His professionalism and warmth added a personal touch to my stay, and I believe his exemplary service reflects the high standards of hospitality at Peppers Gallery in Canberra.

Overall, my experience at Peppers Gallery was made all the more enjoyable by the comfortable rooms and, most notably, the outstanding service provided by Jin, who embodies the essence of exceptional guest service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canberra.

This accomodation was top notch. Amazing staff always smiling & helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was magnificent & so warm during the cold nights. Staff went far & beyond for all our needs.
Close to everything & within walking distance to the City Centre.

Quiet, comfortable and convenient.

Despite reading that this hotel has a reputation as the most haunted hotel in the country my visit was completely normal and my sleep was uninterrupted by any kind of normal or paranormal entities. I even switched off the noisy heating fan to listen for creatures that go bump in the night, but was met with total silence, which was nice.

Great spot to walk around Canberra. Room are clean shower is hot. Bar cocktails are delicious. Breakfast is excellent value and very good. Staff are all helpful and friendly.

Pros:
The room was great - everything you'd need plus quite a large shower, wardrobe, and free tea coffee and milk (kettle & coffee machine, I only used the kettle) and a nice view of trees in the courtyard.

The staff at Peppers were so friendly and helpful, I was even able to borrow a backup phone charger plug from the front desk when I lost mine!

Having the room service option available was so nice, I got a pizza from the restaurant one night and it was absolutely delicious.

The location is great if you want to visit museums, art galleries, gardens, Floriade and the lake. I did a lot of walking but also tried out the Beam electric scooters (some were parked out the front of Peppers, as well as all around the place - the app shows the designated parking locations) which were SO great for getting around the sightseeing spots. I also used Ubers and the most I spent on a trip was $20 (from Peppers to the airport). So its a really great spot close to top sightseeing spots and not too far from the airport.

Con:
The only issue I found with the room was that the bed was right next to the door so I could hear people closing their doors in the hallway or talking as they walked past my door while I was laying in bed which was a bit strange. 7am was quite loud with everyone going to breakfast downstairs, but I got used to it and it actually became my wake up call haha! In saying that, the room felt secure and the people themselves didn't seem to make much noise thankfully. I just mention it here for very light sleepers who go to bed early or like to sleep in (pack earplugs), and to say to Peppers: some extra soundproofing around the door or nib wall next to the bed would be a nice addition for your next renovation 😊

Highly recommend, I'd be happy to stay here again next time I'm in Canberra.

We recently stayed at Peppers for a wedding and had a great time. We particularly wanted to thank Jin on the front desk for allowing us to check out late. He was very helpful and friendly!

All of the staff are so lovely. Big shoutout to Lucie the front office manager for making my stay such a memorable experience! The customer service is absolutely amazing super thankful for Sam, Clara, Lucy, Nadia and Jin for helping me out throughout my week long stay

Lovely experience in a fantastic area. Staff are fabulous who do all they are able to make staying all the more comfortable.
Parking is undercover and safe behind the hotel.
Italian restaurant in house is fantastic, food is always the best. Added to the other restaurants and coffee shops found in walking distance.

Reception and check in was done quickly and professionally. The room, King size bed is well appointed and clean. Room service as well as bar service for by well trained friendly staff members. Good is great the antipasto is recommended especially outdoors. I will definitely book another weekend soon

Had a wonderful experience at the peppers. Unfortunately was tested positive while my stay here, although all the staff including reception and housekeeping guys were were warm and nice to me.

This place is stunning!! Great hotel, beautiful room, amazing bathroom (with a shower to die for). Restaurant is amazing. A bit pricey, but worth it.

My only critique is that because the internet was down, we had no TV channels, other the price was perfect. We'll definitely be back.

The rooms are very clean and stylish. Had the privilege of checking out the new restaurant menu, and it was amazing. Love the italian inspired meals. Staff was amazing. Had the most amazing experience and Fantastic honeymoon.

Wonderful hotel, great central location, short walk to Canberra Centre, theaters, restaurants etc. Very well priced and great value. Rooms are great, comfy bed, fantastic bathroom. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was smooth and very secure. Will definitely stay again.
