Food here is really tasty and delicious - 5 stars for both visits. Will try the duck set one day 😋

Me and my friends had a fantastic experience at Little Steamer, and were RAVING about it for days.
We got a half duck with pancakes! It’s always good fun to wrap your own pancake and they were delicious. The duck was delicate, flavoursome and went really well with the cucumber, hoisin sauce and spring onions inside the pancake. It was great value for a duck, plus it came with a choice of noodles, fried rice or soup. We got the noodles which were soft and contained the gorgeous duck.
The shanghai soup dumplings too were fantastic!
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was quiet, refined and clean. It felt bright and spacious, and the service was friendly :)
We will be back!!

A lovely cozy and airy dining venue. Food was healthy, fresh and delicious. You cannot fault the Peking duck.
Service was excellent- warm and efficient.

Duck fried noodles was the highlight!! I would recommend getting full duck. We ordered 1/2 duck and 1 x additional dish for 3 people. Will get full duck next time.

We started with dumplings Amazingly delicious. Then we moved to signature duck with stir fried noodles.
All hand made and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here.

Authentic Chinese food in the capital city. The Peking Roast duck was quite good, the duck soup was delicious, even for me who grew up eating it. All the other dishes were also very yummy.

Another great find in the Canberra mid range dining options. Located slightly out of the City centre on London Circuit, Little Steamer brings a wide slice of China to this not so cosmopolitan city.
The menu is great, offering a range of fried and steamed dishes. There is no strong regional theme, but all of them are great and served hot and fresh. Prawn dumplings were especially good.
The staff were friendly and attentive and the place was spotless.

I went with some friends here, they have only been opened for 6 weeks. The food was delicious. The interior & ambience were nice, I like the lighting, so bright and modern. It has modern feel compared with other Chinese restaurants around town.

The service was really good. The owner was very friendly and smiley too. I just don't get this in other "typical" Chinese restaurants.

They do BYO and charge $5/person.

Highly recommend this place and we'll go back again soon.

Food was very good. Staff were helpful and inviting especially towards my grandparents. When my grandfather asked for another bowl of soup they gave us a massive pot worth of soup for free. Restaurant was clean, good looking and well structured.

Refined Chinese cuisine, comfortable clean atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful murals, convenient location. This place is going to be popular I can tell!

Especially recommend the duck with soup. I loved the broth.

The staffs are very family friendly. I used to have the dinner with my two boys. The food is steamed so very healthy. As usual, we order the noodle. We also try the duck, prawn balls, steamed pumpkin, steamed rice. It is very worthwhile to try if you have a baby and the baby can not take any fried food.

Little Steamer has some great options. It’s very cosy inside offering a very modern dining experience.
We enjoyed the Shang Hai dumplings and the stir fried potato. One thing I will come back for is that meat ball! It was so flavoursome!

Had the best duck pancakes of my life here during the week, so good in fact the I got distracted and forgot to take photos of the rest of the food we ordered! The duck was cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy skin on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. The restaurant had a really calming atmosphere to it as well, and the service was great. Will be back ☺

Amazing place for dinner. It's clean, tasteful decorations and with a simple yet popular dishes for a Chinese couple. The service is excellent and Beijing Duck is the best in Canberra. Highly recommend!
Finally, there is a place I can take all my friends for a healthy and less oily Chinese dinner.

Their peking duck dish is really tasty. The noodle was perfect, not too oily or salty. Great flavour. Quality of their meal is consistent every time I come

Delicious and fresh! Duck pancakes were delightful - duck was moist and finely prepared. Sizzling dishes were packed full of flavour. The staff provided friendly, attentive service in a spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated restaurant.
