Bay far one of the best quality nuts , sweets and vegetables are found at this shop. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We have been buying everything persian from this shop for the last 10 years! My husband thinks they have the best range of rice , so it’s so easy for him to drive about two hours from Wollongong to the shop.

Awesome store with all genuine and a huge variety of Persian products - saffron, tea, za’tar, herbs, sweets, sherbats and much more. Such a lovely couple who were kind to recommend us the Iranian specialities. Highly recommended visit for anyone looking to get a taste of Iran/ Persian world.

The go-to place for quality Persian Saffron and dry fruits, nuts and spices. The quality of the products are very good and the shop owner is happy to explain if you have any questions about the products.

"Mr Sahel" we call him.... but he is better known as Habib. With his lovely wife they serve up Persian delights that are so varied and many that you wonder how they fit it all in to one little shop!! My wife is a caterer and it's amazing how many herbs, spices and special ingredients that you can only find in this shop.

Great little Persian grocery store. Got everything I needed for some tasty Iranian recipes. Will be back when the occasion calls for it. The gentleman running the counter was super friendly too.

Sydney is awash with behemoth bland supermarkets. This is not so with the Sahel experience. Small, intimate it recalls all the long lost delicatessens of last century. Smells delicious, service friendly and expert. Wide range of great products. A must go to for anyone interested in genuine Mediterranean a d Middle Eastern cooking. Sumac? Yes. Home made labne? Yes. Every variation on freekeh and bulgur and couscous. A treat to shop there. Parking can at times be difficult, but accessible by buses from Chatswood.
