Went in for a couple of things but got more than planned as usual 😃

Very busy store.... plenty of craft supplies at reasonable prices but when they're filling the stock shelves its dangerous for customers....

One of the socks I bought had unravelled a little after one use. I fixed it using my knitting skills.

Friendly staff.

I have been to this place many times because it had stuff but never again. Bought a storage shelf a few weeks back and wanted to get a few more. Couldnt locate it because the shop was full of boxes on the floor. I asked help from the cashier who looked like the owner. He said no at first. Usually people help for pregnant women who cannot lift boxes. I already removed a few which I could to find the storage shelf.The lazy and rude owner didn't want to help at all. Said it's not there or come on a different day. I would rather shop at kmart than going to this useless shop again. Wonder how this place survives where the owner doesnt want the customers to buy items. Bad customer service at its best.

Extremely rude and ridiculous customer care from the staff and the manager.
I cannot believe anyone would like to spend a cent in the shop.
I just spent just less than $100 to test the water to give my clients for Xmas gifts this year. And I thought if it is good, next year onward, I can do more bulk orders here. Never will step into this shop for the rest of life for his ridiculously customer care and service and attitude.

We have shopped here for party supplies etc for many years. During lockdown I was happy to support this business to drop helium balloons onto a family members doorstep. In that instance they were happy to inflate balloons I provided without issue however after trying to find a particular balloon for my daughters birthday that they did not stock, I sourced it elsewhere but decided I would still support their small business by having it inflated there instead of at a larger chain/party supply store. Much to my disappointment I went out of my way to go to this store and they refused as they were not purchased from their store despite the fact they didn’t stock the balloons I needed. I was happy to pay whatever price and she flat out refused to fulfil the service and was extremely rude about it in the process. Since lockdown I have endeavoured to support small businesses however this is one we will no longer be supporting. Spotlight was more than happy to fill my balloons and Smart enough to take my Dollars.

Wanted to buy a $2 card so I gave him a $5 note. It took him a minute just to put on some silicon gloves because he was going to touch cash, but then when I handed my cash to him, he refused to accept my legal tender because it had the ever-so-slightly wear and tear on one of the ends. I had to pay by card instead, but this situation was so extremely annoying. Who refuses legal tender like that because it didn’t look absolutely perfect? Doesn’t he know what stands for legal tender even with wear and tear? Annoyed, I then went straight to Commbank on Level 2 to see whether my $5 note was truly an issue. Not surprisingly, my $5 note was perfectly acceptable. CommBank teller accepted my $5 note, no issues, no problems, no questions, no dilemmas. Management in this store could use some more training and customer service. I probably won’t be coming back.

This shop is my first stop to shop.
I'd normally give it a 5 star ..
But not sure if it's under new management or the staff on that day ..
Normally the regular staff are friendly they say hello they actually help ..
26.1.22. The tall fellow ignored the customers had to wait and wait just for him to look up.. asked where an item was and he pointed if it was there I couldn't see it.. again was ignored st the register to pay for the other item for hi to make a huge fuss over the authenticity of a $20. Bill .
Bring back the other staff
