I would like to thank Dongsheng Bi for helping out on my blocked card issue. The way he patiently listening my problem and doing his work was great and in fact he shared other things which I don’t know about St George. Like offering great deals too.
I will visit him next time for sure 👍🏼

Amee provided me with the best banking experience of my life during my loan application.

I was planning to get mortgage and didn't know who to talk to. I remember I was standing in front of the door and didn't know who to talk to. Amee approached me and asked if I needed help. I told her what I needed and it turned out she was the person I was looking for. Amee told me she was the lending manager but she was finishing work for the day but she could arrange a online meeting. In the meeting，Amee was very professional，she told me what I needed to do to get the loan amount that I needed. I followed her advice and got everything prepared. When it was the time，she helped me get a mortgage for my first home in about a week!!!!!!She even met me at the weekend so to save me some time.

Anyway, I had a really good experience with Amee, she has provided me with a fantastic customer experience, St. George Bank is blessed to have staff like Amee who cares about its customers. And I would definitely recommend Amee to anyone looking for a home loan.

AMAZING AMEE!

Due to a change of circumstance, I was in some hot water with a mortgage application. With two weeks left until settlement, I was in a panic. I got Amee's phone number from the bank's website, and took a chance.

Amee arranged a meeting for the next day and was BEYOND accommodating. She took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions (even the stupid ones), and provided me with the best banking experience of my life. She helped me get a mortgage for my first home, IN UNDER 2 WEEKS!! With such a quick result, I would trust Amee with my life.

Not only did Amee go above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic customer experience, but she is humble! She says she looks after her customers' loans as if they were her own, and I truly believe that. With such a hard-working lady, St. George Bank is blessed.

Extremely poor customer service. My debit card got stolen while I was oversea. I came into the branch to seek assistance. That rude lady told me to call the customer number the 13 3330 & refused to help me. Obviously, I came into the branch to seek help in person & hoping to resolve the issue directly.

She even said” Don’t seat here & call as it may take up to an hour. Why don’t you call them late evening. Perhaps you won’t have to wait for so long.” Then she rushed me away.

I keep asking in despair “Are you sure you can’t help me?” 😔 She still told me to move on. Extremely, unfriendly & rude. Why should any customer be treated like this? She clearly hated her job no smile 0 attentive & most of all didn’t even want to help.

After, I phoned the customer service number. That lady advised, she couldn’t help me to order a new card & I must go to a St George Branch.

Now, I have to make another trip. How frustrating. I still don’t understand why can’t that lady at the branch assistant at first place.

Their BT Super has been bought by another company & I needed the information for my employer. She won’t help me either, or at least provide the new super company’s contact details. She literally just told me to do it online but where & how do I know any information if you aren’t helping me???

This is just unacceptable & such unpleasant experience. I have decided to close my account with St George Bank. After been a loyal customer for almost 20yrs.

Whats the point of an in person branch when you are immediately told to go online or call customer support for anything more than a withdrawal or deposit?

My mother and myself received extremely poor customer service one Thursday afternoon and I chose to leave public feedback for others to see. My mother chose to leave ANONYMOUS feedback directly to St george and was then phoned to discuss it, while interstate dealing with a family matter, asked if she could be ID'd over the phone and had to say three times she didn't want to discuss it and its not her problem before they would let her off the phone. This is an incredibly inappropriate way to deal with a complaint, and a disgusting way for a financial institution to treat confidential and anonymous information.

Our son has been saving his coins for the last year and today eagerly visited your branch to deposited the money into his account only to be told by the cashier that they do not take cash/coins deposits??? Really is this no longer a banking option?? How are parents supposed to teach children how to budget and bank if this simple service is no longer provided?

The staff are slow and unfriendly, we waited for around half an hour while staff were conversing between themselves. They were also very slow at processing a cheque we had been given as payment for services. I believe this institution to be as relevant as the dinosaur they use to represent them

Completely incompetent. Signed up for a credit card with them. Organised an additional cardholder, who had to go in to the branch be identified twice because they did it incorrectly the first time.

They then said I needed a replacement card. I went in to collect this and they gave me the additional cardholders card, with my name on the letter but their name on the card, and cut up the original (my) card. I was made to queue again to tell them of this error and they had enabled me to commit identity theft.

Was then told they couldn’t even put a hold on the account while I organised a final payment to cancel all business with them.

Incredibly incompetent, poor service. Bank elsewhere.

St Geroge are the worst bank in Australia. Shocked it hasnt collapsed yet, i've already taken out all my money.

No good customer service.Not all employees but few very deceptive ones.

Didn't bother helping me with my actual problem and terribly slow

I attended this branch on 22 December 2020. I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful, or perhaps I misjudged them and they are just incompetent at their jobs.

No line bad customer service people jumping the line and bad cleaning the first time I gone there was no line at all and nobody asked for helping us make a bank account there

Staffng in this branch horrible service at teller have so bad attitude toward customer don't forget u guys are employee here not the owner of this place so left this arrogance at home do your job properly
