Spice Odysee - The Hidden Kitchen Indian Restaurant

This little hidden kitchen is a true little gem, food is fantastic, fresh and spiced beautifully. I dined in, the venue is not flash but the food makes up for it. I strongly recommend giving this place a go. Food is not too spicy for those who are not sure but if you love the heat you can ask for it.

Spice Odyssey in Busselton is a true gem! We savored dal, masala dosa, carrot halwa, and samosa, all bursting with authentic flavors. The staff's warmth and the chef's culinary skills make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful Indian dining experience. Kudos to the team!

We had a delicious meal with exceptional service. Eve served us and she was awesome. We ordered all vegetarian curries and she even took the time to check for dietary requirements. The vego menu was extensive and delicious. Shout out to the farmers eggplant curry which was so so good! Thank you to the Spice Odysee crew

Spice odyssey is an amazing place. The ambience is so warm and welcoming l, the waiting time very less and the staff is so courteous.
We had our food almost entire week from here and the taste, portion size, level of spice was just perfect each time.

Had lunch here today and it was so TASTY! We had Dosa Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, Beef Vindaloo and Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious and authentic, with good serving sizes. The customer service was also great, super friendly, attentive and ready to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

WOW! We just had Dosa at this delightful Indian restaurant. We tried Chicken and Marsala Dosa's. Came with 2 chutneys and lentil Dahl. So so tasty. Both Dosa's were packed. Staff were lovely. Definitely recommend.

We visited Spice Odysee for lunch and dinner on 29th August, 2023. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good and tasty Indian food.

Service: By the time we reached there it was already near closing time, but the restaurant staff n chef were kind enough to accommodate us. Service was quick and excellent. The chef, staff and their family were very friendly.

Ambience: The place is neat and tidy. The restaurant ambience is beautiful, decorated with Indian traditional art forms and paintings. Restrooms are clean and functional.

Food: The taste, portions and flavours are excellent. We tried most of the dishes and were never disappointed. Special mentions, chicken dosa, south Indian chicken curry, coconut rice and naans. Must try - vanilla ice cream with carrot halwa.

Great food, service and ambience. I will definitely visit again. One of the hidden gems in busselton.

I travel down to Dunsborough quite a bit and I always stop off into here for a curry on the way home! Or if I’m in busselton chances are I’m coming here for dinner!
I’ve been in Australia for years and this is easily one of the best places I’ve had a curry!
Vegetable bhajis are spot on, the madras is my favourite but the butter chicken is equally as good!
The vegetable dosa are amazing and very filling.
Being English I like to think I know a good Indian restaurant and curry, I’m very fussy when it comes to Indian food.
The ingredients are fresh , the taste is always beautiful and it’s never greasey.
Do your self a favour don’t bother with any other Indian restaurants in the south west, best curry by a mile!
The chefs and owners are great too, always greet you with a smile and ask how your doing too

We came here for dinner tonight and the food was amazing the sizes of the meals were the largest I have had at any Indian restaurant. And the amount of vegan meals to choose from was amazing. This is by far the best Indian restaurant I have ever been too all the food was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. We will definitely be back when we visit on our next holiday.

The best Indian I’ve had in years! Authentic, fresh flavour, great value and fantastic service. Recommend to everyone! Even our baby loved it!

Really good ambiance and food . I was surprised to find dosas, idly and vadai in Busselton.. food taste’s wonderful. Also their chutneys and Sambar are taste great and authentic. The place gets really busy so be prepared to wait or book in advance. Wait staff were really friendly too..

Edit- back again after 2 years and they are still maintaining their exceptional quality of food and service!!

My family ordered the butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and pumpkin and spinach dhal (lunch specials). The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Everytime we travel to Busselton we always visit the Spice Odyssey for a meal. It is a family favourite!! 🙂

Had the masala dosa, South Indian fried chicken entree and South Indian chicken curry, roti and rice. Everything was great. The South Indian chicken curry was a cut above though. Really really good, definately gonna try that at other places and see if it's as good. Staff was good, venue was good. All in all no complaints. Would come for sure

Stopped at Spice Odysee for lunch and was so glad we did! The owner and staff are so friendly and accommodating. We arrived 40 minutes before the lunch time ended but that was no problem for the kitchen. The 2 lunch specials we ordered (curry, naan and rice) for under $20 each were excellent value, arrived quickly and were delicious.
Highly recommended Indian cuisine.

I was introduced to dosai for the first time here and it’s so good. Definitely a place to stop and get your Indian food cravings fulfilled.

Hidden off Bussel hwy, Busselton (behind subway) this simple restaurant, offers a relaxed, casual atmosphere with an excellent menu.
Note:,this restaurant does not sell alcohol but your not there for beer or wine you are there for the food.
From the Tikka Masala to the Goat curry we had a verity off the menu and we all walked out talking about how good the flavours were and none of us went hungry. (There was plenty to take home)
The meals are a good size, full of great flavours and the meat is tender, not fatty bits. Vegetables are all fresh and local.
So if you love curries that are good, wholesome and something to get your taste bubs moving then try Spice Odysee.

We wanted to have some Indian food and luckily it was open and we had beautiful Masala dosa and basmati rice, nan and curry it was beautiful but I wish I had asked but spicy.

Asked the staff to choose 2 entrees and 2 mains for us. They chose beautifully. Absolutely loved the meals and fantastic service. Makes us wish we were local. Highly recommend the Hidden Kitchen.
