The owner and staff are friendly. They allow you to try their fudge and icecream. We bought both. We also had fun in the Penny arcade. Sometimes a machine didn't work but that's life. We went to two other 'tourist' shops and weren't spoken too or acknowledged. This guy deserves a tourism award for making people feel welcome. Thank you.

A great place to visit to see real old style entertainment and how things would have been in our parents'/grandparents' days. A great assortment of souvenirs. Beautiful Nougat,Turkish Delight and some of the best Fudge we have ever tried. Very friendly staff. Well worth the visit.

I had a lot of fun playing the vintage arcade games! It's interesting to see how arcade games have evolved over the decades. The owner was friendly and humorous and gave us an explanation/demonstration for each game. If I remembered correctly, one of the arcade machines was ~100 years old! Wow! Definitely one of my highlights in Echuca.

What a lovely historical building, one of the oldest in Echuca, and what a terrific fudge and nougat, m-m-m...

Fudge, Turkish delight all amazing. Penny arcade was worth $17 one adult and kid. Very informative tour and lots of fun playing games.

They also have a lovely shop in Maldon selling fudge, icecream and milkshakes, under same name. (Uses same address on Eftpos txns which is confusing.)

The Penny Arcade is excellent. We took our ten year old and it was the perfect combination of fun and educational. The owner will come in with you and talk you through each of the machines and how they work - pay attention! They’re vintage machines with all kinds of quirks - for us, that made it part of the fun. $10 will get you 13 pennies and a good half an hour of fun. More than you’ll get at the show!! ;)

The store offered a variety of fudge flavours available for my own perusing, and my overall experience was positive. However, a particular employee made my experience quite sour. When I asked to sample some fudge flavours, I was met with hostility and an air of exasperation. The employee repeatedly slapped my fudge samples onto the cutting board with their knife, whilst waving said weapon threateningly in my face. My total came to $6.90, so naturally I paid with a five dollar note and a two dollar coin, however, the simple mathematics required to complete my transaction must have been too much for this poor employee, as they refused to give me my change. Whilst my experience with this employee, was less that satisfactory, another employee was exemplar in their customer service. Making amicable small talk with me as they stocked shelves, I am quite anguished that I was unable to be served by such an angel.

This is a joke, the employees were my friends.

Didn't try the movies or the penny arcade, we were just there for the fudge. The fudge is super sweet but the kids love it. Staff are friendly and are very happy to offer tastings of lots of different fudges and icecream. Recommend for a quick stop on a hot day as its nice and cool in here.

Why is this place not better known!!
It was such a great time! The owner gave a little tour of each of the games at the arcade (most about 100 years old) and you can tell he really enjoys showing them off too which makes it all the better for the guests.
Had a bunch of penny’s each to enjoy the games. Super cool experience.

Should be at the top of the list for things to do in Echuca!

Staff are fantastic, this is a trip back in time before mobile phones and TV. Yes, some of the games are old and simple and might not work 100% of the time, but that is not important. There are also silent movies to watch and wonderful home made fudge and ice cream. Don't miss it!

Loved the old arcade (1920's/30's/40's), short tour by the owner giving an overview of the machines, then left with a bucket of coins to pay through the games.
