Echuca Wharf

Echuca is one of my favourite places to visit and I especially love the old port.
Enjoyed the cruise on the Pevensey paddle steamer and I was lucky enough to get a great photo of Emmylou!

Turn the clock back, and you step into the good olden days, where everyone worked hard and the Murray River was and still is beautiful ⛴

Great spot for lunch and a cosy walk into history.
Make sure to book ahead with going on boats tho as sometimes they don't always run.

Great little cruise down the Murry River.

An absolutely fabulous place to visit! A cruise on the paddlesteamer for an hour is an amazing experience. Step back in time to when inland rivers bore all produce to the sea and returned upstream as far as Bourke!

We walked down underneath the huge historic Warf and looked at the amazing structure and it is beautiful really.

The museum is very cool to look at and nice and interactive.

It's free to walk through and dogs are welcome, in the shop, museum and on the paddle boats.

There is horse and cart rides outside on the dirt rd and lots to look at.
It's a great day out.

Marvellous bit of Australia's history. Great static displays and a lovely area to meander around. Make sure you do River cruise too

Lovely charming little wharf. Takes you back in time. The discovery center is very well done (and free). Loved spending some time there.

Wonderfully presented and maintained

Went back to my hometown Echuca/Moama and was not disappointed. Went back in time to the Port of Echuca. Purchased paddlesteamer tickets for the Canberra at the Port however can purchase on line. No cost to walk around the Port or visit inside the discovery centre, which one should visit. If you have never been go, you won't be disappointed

This area has been recently rejuvenated with the addition of a new visitor information and experience center. There are many shops and walks and great coffee! I thoroughly recommend this area. Allow a couple of hours if you can

Go back in history and learn about Echuca and wharf and it’s contribution to the growth of the town region and nation as a whole.

Such a stunning spot teeming with history, stunning riverside scenery and free to wander about.

Entry to the underground of the wharf is via Discovery Centre. Entry is freem Definitely should visit the underground for great photos.

Very interesting, heaps to look at. Would recommend visiting while in echuca

Lots to see, working steam engines, paddle boats coming and going

Murray River very full at the moment, control flooding of certain areas, great asset for Echuca / Moama great for the paddle steamers and other house 🏠 boats etc including southern 80,come &enjoy.

A scenic view of the Murray River only a short stroll from cafes and visitor attractions.

Very well done a great little hub, lovely restaurants and pubs.take a river cruise on a paddle steamer.
