Mr. Mick Cellar Door and Kitchen

Came for lunch and ordered the squid, arancini, duck and soft shell crab (not pictured). I highly recommend the squid, it is just the right balance between crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Food was served at a decent pace and service staff were very friendly. Would come back again :-)

Me & the hubby decided to grab a late lunch after hitting the Riesling Trail and this spot was perfect. What can I say the Tapas were to die for. The young lass that served us recommended how many dishes she thought we might like to order depending on how hungry we were so we opted for 5 but I think we had eyes bigger than our belly’s as the portion sizes were surprisingly big and jam packed full of flavour. The hubby found the perfect wine, Mr Mick Shiraz so much so he decided to buy an extra couple of bottles to bring home.
The staff were really nice and very friendly who all seem to make it run like clockwork our tapas dishes came out at a steady rate and we didn’t feel rushed, it was a really relaxing dining experience thank you 😊 this place is a hidden gem & I would definitely recommend it

We had a wine tasting followed by lunch. We both decided to go the chef's selection of share plates, and it was amazing food. I'm not sure how they count their dishes, but they just seemed to keep coming. We chose our own wines by the glass, but when I asked for advice on a wine for one dish, it was an absolute beauty. If you're in Clare do not miss this place.

We did a tasting first - very enjoyable, with most wines available for puchase at under $20 a bottle, so reasonable!
Lunch was under the trees, on the lawn - magic!
Our group ordered Calamari, Lamb Cutlets, Aracini, Barramundi, Greek Salad and Duck!
Everything was delicious, everyone was content 😋

Delish tapas for lunch, sitting in the lovely garden with mist, our dog was happy he could join. Great tasting, wines were $18 a bottle so very reasonable

What a fabulous tasting and lunch! The food was fantastic, but it paled in comparison to the service. Ivy and her companion were both fantastic. We had our kids with us and they looked after us so well. Ivy even managed to track us down at our accommodation to tell us we left an item of value at the restaurant.

What an amazing experience of mouth watering tapas. So much to choose from, I had the Chefs Selection with Mr. Mick wine pairing. From the cellar door to the restaurant we had an awsome time, and look forward to doing it again.

Great outdoor dining restaurant in Clare. Comparing to having a lunch in nearby wineries, the price here is accommodating. Love the beetroot and sweet potatoes sauces, refreshing and light tasting. Wonderful in sizzling summer. We had our lunch insider coz we scared of flys and just want to stay away from people. But personally I think everybody shoulder try to dine outside first. Eating on lawn and enjoy the view would be lovely.

The food was all delicious (we had 8 dishes including dessert 🙈), the wines were easy drinking and I liked more than I usually do which meant we bought some to take away. Lauren and James were very attentive and lovely- great staff!
The setting was relaxed and the night overall really good :-)
I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Visited Mr Mick for lunch, was slightly crowded and thankfully we did managed to get in without a reservation.

Ordered the pork, lamb and patatas and churros. Love how the food here is fusion. I believe the pork belly was cooked in a style which has Chinese influence and served with plum sauce. Love the patatas.

The menu is great and offers suggestions on the type of wine to pair.

We have an annual tradition of visiting Mr Mick's for lunch over our summer holidays and are never disappointed. The food is always excellent, the settings are lovely, the staff are knowledgable and friendly. Our last visit was on January 5th and Grace really gave us really great service: she struck just the right balance of friendly service and giving us space to enjoy our meal, and there was nothing she didn't know about the food and wine. We can't wait to go back!

We popped in for lunch and had the chefs feed me option at $48 per head. 9 courses later we were absolutely stuffed (in a good way!). Lovely setting and the wines were also decent quality and well priced. Well worth a visit!

Looking for a place in Clare to have lunch and we came across this place which we were both pleased with. We didn’t choose Chef’s choice as we weren’t too hungry but I trust it would be a good option. We had several small shared dishes which were all delicious!
My favourites were the Arancini balls & fried Halloumi. When we next visit Clare we will eat here again. The staff were friendly and informative. Nice quiet vibe.

Did the Riesling Trail ride with friends between Auburn and Clare. We stopped by cafès instead wineries. We went in Mr. Mick as we arrived in Clare in the late afternoon and some cafès are closed.
It was fully booked at the indoor dining area. The very friendly staff members managed a table outside near the fireplace for us even we just want snacks and coffee. Foods are very good too!
If you like wine tasting with good food and great services. You definitely should try Mr. Mick. But make sure you book your table as it looks very busy on the weekend.

Came here, for the first time with my beautiful fiancee. What can I say, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Ran us through what is involved etc and the food, was absolutely sensational.. Thank you Mr Micks Clare and keep up y'all great work.

Nice vibe, great outdoor space, beautiful live music. It's a nice place to stop for a good feed and bevy. I chose the Miss Molly Malone Grape Spritzer and it's yuum! Highly recommended.

We recently spent the morning enjoying a quick wine tasting before heading back to Adelaide after a weekend away and it was fabulous! The service was outstanding and very informative and the grounds were gorgeous! Not only is their wine nice but it’s super affordable but the best thing is that they’re dog friendly so it’s a lovely experience for the whole family! We’ll definitely be back! 😊
