Bungaree Station

Very interesting property not far from Clare. Pretty, well-equipped cottage (no dishwasher.) There is a self-guided walk around the estate which was really interesting. We also had the chance to feed a few orphaned (pet) kangaroo, wallaby and deer. A lovely stay.

A place not to be missed if you are spending a weekend or holiday in the Clare region. Great history, fantastic accommodation, friendly staff, and first-class service. Also, if you are planning a wedding, this is the place where the magic and memories are made. ❤😍

Don't leave without walking the grounds. Spectacular views at golden hour! Not to mention all the lovely animals on site 😍

There are not enough superlatives to describe Bungaree station.
The gardens and historical buildings, the accommodation and walking trails are simply stunning.
An opportunity not to be missed for weddings and other events.

Wonderfully rustic but still conveniently close to Clare. We stayed in the Swaggies’ Hut. Uncluttered but well-appointed, with a modern interior and bathroom (cleverly built into a water tank). Spotlessly clean. Vicky & Mark were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.

A unique chance to be immerse in a piece of history and a stunning natural surrounding. Bungaree Station is an incredible historical location and it's a great privilege to be able to stay here and explore the property. With a little one in tow it was great fun to feed the animals in the morning - Mark is very kind and knowledgeable - and to wonder through the station to discover its past and history. The Groom's quarters where we stayed was very comfortable for a family - although the furniture is a little bit dated - and it provided everything we needed. The property is just a short drive from Clare and perfect to explore the valley. I'll definitely be coming back!

Staying at Bungaree was a wonderful experience. It’s an amazing place, so peaceful and pretty. Our cottage was private, romantic and comfortable. The historic buildings and the farm were fascinating, and our hosts Vicky and Mark were very welcoming.

We stayed here for our grandson's wedding. The venue was amazing, and the Lodge where we stayed was great. If you get a chance, look at the stunning night sky. The reception was in the wool shed after the ceremony on the lawn in front of the homestead. Everything was perfect.

Amazing place to stay. Wonderful hosts. Caring and knowledgable about their area. We were looked after and felt very special. Thank you to Vicki and the team. Lots to do on the station. Great photo opportunities and history buffs will love it

Fantastic great weekend getaway. Facility exceptionally clean and ample breakfast. Ideal family getaway. Lots of history, staff were very friendly and helpful. Bomb Fire was the icing on the cake!!

We're on bus trip and called in for tour. It was excellent. Had mirning tea there and cake was delicious. Amazing history and still owned by the original family. Well done.

Fantastic place to stay. The hospitality was amazing. Very generous breakfast provisions.
We stayed in the lodge and there was everything you needed in the kitchen to cook if you wanted, or plenty of great places to eat in town only 10 minutes away.
Beautiful property to walk around and feeding the animals was a highlight for the kids.

Such a beautiful, serene and relaxing getaway. Surrounded by trees and shrubbery, the delightful songs from a large variety of Birdlife whilst relaxing on our private verandah in the dappled Sunshine really reminds you how special the simple things in life are.
The Photos say it all about our Cabin - the Stable Box. Just gorgeous ! Pristine and perfect - it's everything you need. Not even a wrinkle on the bed cover. :) Full Breakfast provisions for a king and queen. The lady that welcomed us, couldn't do enough. Asking what things we were interested in seeing in Clare, she gave us a very detailed map of the Station that we could walk around and see ie: Horse stalls, Farm shop, Blacksmith shop, Homestead gardens and lots more. She also gave us a printout of "what's on in Clare this weekend" and a Book of the places to visit within the Clare Valley. This place really is deserving of the 5 stars. Bungaree Station, we'll be back for more R&R soon !

Their is only one word BRILLIANT the starf were excellent no I take that back they once again they were BRILLIANT Vicki, Kirsty and Mark unfortunately I did not catch the gardeners name but he was lovely, I would recommend a stay any one you will need at least 3 days to look around the property on it's own , I thank You at Bundaberg Station for making our stay once again dair I say it BRILLIANT.

Our nephew had his wedding here & it was just great we didn't stay there but friends did & they liked the little rooms they stayed in also the wool shed was good but all they need to do is have more toilets but other than that its a great place

My group of 6 people stayed in one of the available houses on this property for the weekend. Check in was super easy and their communication was excellent. The land and its sightseeing were really lovely and the property itself was such great value for money. We loved it.

We had a wonderful time hiring out the Shearers Quarters with a larger group. It's a beautiful old property only a few minutes from Clare, but the feeling of old world seclusion is pure and serene. Mark & Vicky are great hosts and I'd highly recommend this, especially with young kids who will love getting a real country experience!
