Fun rooms and very well decorated. We did the Genie's Lamp and Pirate's Peril rooms. They were both quite fun with some good puzzles. The main thing for me was the decorating. The building and the corridors were fairly unassuming, but the rooms themselves were really nice. Good quality components, great set dressing, and friendly folks running it.

It was such a pleasant surprise finding an escape room out in the regions. Recently opened and set at the site of the old Blyth hospital, Blyth Breakout did not disappoint. Incredibly friendly staff who have put their heart and soul into their new business. Puzzles have a good narrative, are intricate, extremely challenging and have a sense of authenticity. The best escape room I have been to (and we didn't quite make it out!). For anyone staying in the region it is the perfect night activity. For those living in Adelaide - make a day trip out of it! You won't be disappointed.

5/5 stars.

My partner and I did the Prohibition room and managed to escape (with quite a few hints, oops) but we had such a fun time. We were so excited to hear about this place on our trip to the Clare Valley - what a great idea! The room was decorated really well and cleverly done. We will definitely return next time we are nearby.

Went last weekend with my wife. Started with the genie one and came back next day for prohibition

These rooms are just as good if not better than ones in the city and the clues they give you are great!

Loved it

We were passing and stopped in without notice. The team were super patient with us for our 1st escape room experience. They gave us tips when we were falling behind. The rooms are in a former hospital which is a great format.
We had a great time in the Genie room, with enough complexity to keep us on our toes. The kids had a blast and were far better at it than we were!
Just around the corner from the cinema - really fun for all ages. Lovely staff made all the difference.

If you're visiting Clare or traveling through to the Flinders Rangers, it's well worth making this stop. We've been twice now - once for Pirate's Peril, once for Prohibition - and we'll definitely come again. The rooms are very well fitted out and the puzzles are challenging and fun. There's also a waffle cafe attached, that makes great coffees and has a varied menu. Staff are also very friendly and professional.
It's a great initiative for a country town - hope to see more of this kind of thing.

Went there while I was camping in Clare, a fantastic set up of rooms. I can't tell you how immersive the rooms felt, it was hecking great! We had Mckayla (sp?) As our game master and she was awesome, very friendly and welcoming. Some of the puzzles felt like leaps but the clues were helpful! We escaped from prohibition Bar and the room was so well put together.

Went today with my partners family and we all had a great time. Mikayla (sorry if that's the wrong spelling) was a great game master and helped to explain connections between some puzzles that we missed. Was a good time for all of us 😊😊

We had a lot of fun trying out the Genie room (we were new to escape rooms) and the room had a wow factor - it looked and worked great. Our guide was also very helpful. We also recommend having waffles at the cafe.

Happy to have had the room to ourselves (group of 3) which hasn't been the case for other escape rooms. The pirate room was really fun and had a good amount of challenges (medium difficulty). Had some yummy food afterwards in the on site cafe.

Insanely fun escape room. Came from Gawler and can honestly say the room we did was better than some in Adelaide. Don't come here and expect a dingy half put-together room. Puzzles are family made and very clever. Host was fantastic, clues were well timed. Will definitely be making many trips back to complete the other rooms.

loved every second of it.
have done lots of escape rooms and this place was by far the best.
we did the prohibition bar room.
the whole thing genuinely made you think; but it was the team that made the experience so good.
very personal, very fun & exactly what you’d want from an escape room experience.
we can’t wait to go back!

Great fun for a family - 2 adults, 2 kids 12 and 9. We did the Genie room and VR. Lots of laughs. The staff were really nice. Great waffles for lunch.

We did the Jail Break room with our 2 kids (13 and 11) and whilst we didn't manage to get out we did have a great time. The staff are very friendly and courteous (and give you hints when you need them) and it is a really well done escape room, and they have easier ones if you want. If you are in the region you should absolutely challenge yourself, go on have a go :)

We had my sons 13 year old birthday party, 8 boys a session in the pirates peril room, 2 sessions of vr followed by waffles after.
Our game master Keeley was brilliant, really looked after the boys and keep them under control!
Max the owner was very generous with his time making sure we were well catered for in every aspect.
Such an amazing experience and something different to try in the mid North, such an asset to the little town of Blyth.
We will definitely be going back to try another room with adults and look forward to follow other ventures they may have planned.

We did the Pirate Room as part of a work team building exercise and it was so much fun. The team were amazing and the morning tea provided was delicious.
Will 100% go back to do more!

Honestly the best adventure room experiences my partner and I have had in South Australia, and we've done them all. Seriously, all of the rooms at the 4 main competitors in Adelaide CBD+surround and then even a fringe escape room one year. And still our favourite rooms are theses ones out in Blyth. It's just phenomenal to see this life brought out to a historic town and such a great experience only so far out from Clare Valley - if you're all wines out, these guys will take care of you and show you something amazing. And they take care of you too - you can tell the owners have a passion for family and puzzles and fun and it's just an amazing experience, we may make a day trip just to come out and play!

We escaped the Genie's Lamp and we're definitely going back to try another room.

This was such a fun detour. We did the kids Jeanie room and the kids (4 and 7) loved it. It was well planned that we could help without solving it for them. Would also be good for older primary school aged kids without much parental help. Well and truly rivelled the escape rooms back in Melbourne. Duration was 30minutes which was perfect for the kids.
