There couldn’t been a better place than a getaway at Steve and Jood’s airbnb. An unforgettable one night visiting Clare Valley!

I missed out on writing our feedback on airbnb so had to finally post it here as I highly recommend booking a stay at Steve and Jood’s Ettrick Creek!

Ettrick Creek is a relaxing place with amazing hosts. Meeting Steve and Jood felt like visiting a friend after so long that you have so much to catch up on 🥰

We thoroughly enjoyed our night away at Clare and especially our evening out in the yard on table 5 which had the best view of kangaroos and birds coming down for some drinks!

Steve and Jood are so welcoming and a great company to have when exploring a new town. We had the best night learning from each other and sharing funny stories that it felt like a night wasn’t enough! Would be lovely if we had more time off to visit and stay longer at Steve and Jood’s Ettrick Creek. Till we meet again,Steve and Jood!

Ettrick Creek B&B is in the township of Armagh.
Built along the banks of Armagh Creek over 150 years ago, Armagh is the original site for the township of Clare.
The ruins of the original Brick Kiln still stand on the banks of the creek. This Kiln produced bricks for most of the original buildings in Clare and all through this picturesque wine region.
Armagh Creek boasts the first Gold mines in the region, though not prominent in the scale of other sites in South Australia, most of the gold was panned out of the creek before the 1900s.
Now home to vineyards and Olive groves, this quiet little community prides itself in the peacefulness and serenity of this beautiful valley

What a lovely experience. Beautiful hosted BNB just outside of Clare. We really enjoyed the stay with hosts Steve & Jood. Definitely going back! Pictured is "drinking spot" #11 of 13 looking across the Valley at Armagh.
