My order came super fast at no extra cost! I bought items as Christmas gifts, including the dogs and can’t wait to see them being unwrapped! I know they will be enjoyed - well hope the dogs love being washed 😆 - cooking, reading and all while supporting a great indigenous business, with exceptional talents.

Warndu Mai is the 'go to' family business to stock your pantry with delicious Indigenous foods. There are so many wonderful recipes, ideas and information in both 'Warndu Mai' (cook book) and its 'First Nations Food Companion'.
I've been online shopping at Warndu Mai for quite a while and have been delighted with their prompt delivery and follow up to any enquiries.
And the foods are simply exquisite!
Favourites in our kitchen at the moment are Wattleseed Balsamic Vinegar, the selection of native infused oils - thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper and bush tomato.
And the quandong chutney is a treat!

I recently bought the Warndu Mai book .. it is BEAUTIFUL! I particularly love the Forewords & the Notes which are really interested and beautifully written. And the delightful, hand written inscription at the front was a thrill! As to the recipes, I can't make a decision! I turn a page & think, ooh this is what I'll try, then a few pages later, I've got a new idea! I feel like I'm at the beginning of a new & exciting learning curve, absorbing as much info as I can. Brilliant products and great local business, just placed a new order! We love the teas, especially the Finger Lime & River Mint and the Davidson Plum & Lemon Myrtle. The Emu Bush tea is very calming :)

Warndu teas are so beautiful and I love the colourful cardboard canisters. They make such a lovely gift and people always report back about how much they love the them.

Honestly can't recommend highly enough. I've used several of the different foods over the years, quality is always guarenteed and it's so lucky to be able to use the ingredients all year round especially where I live and they aren't always readily grown! High recommend Warndu Mai as well, life changing! The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating.

I have purchased 2 sets of the Wattleseed Balsamic together with the bush dukka from Warndu, one for me, one for a gift.. let me just say they are so versatile and so suited to just about anything you cook. I use the wattleseed balsamic wherever a recipe calls for it. I was given the First Nations Food Companion for Xmas...what a joy!!..I urge you to explore Warndu products..Australian made, and owned with love

Having been raised on Adnyamathanha Yarta at Arkaroola I love foraging for bush tucker.
Warndu mai is good! Thank you for making it more available now through your shop - your products are staples in my pantry, but I still forage on Yertabulti too.
I dearly wish that your quality products become staples alongside European and asian foods in our supermarkets.
I dont have definitive recipes, but may write some down for you. My take on salt & pepper squid is nice with pickled karkalla & lemon myrtle tartare sauce.
Wattle seed & Lemon myrtle are staples for deserts too.

I am the current custodian on Mutti Mutti land. I operate an accommodation business where a beautiful Mutti Mutti woman is one of my favourite clients.
Together, we are going to plant a bush tucker garden from which I will use the produce to cater for clients, my food companion will be a great resource.
