Meehan Hill Lookout

Great spot for swim! Water was beautiful.

Meehan Hill Lookout has amazing views. It's at the southern end of Yorke Peninsula so it's a bit out of the way and you will need to take some dirt roads. The roads are good in summer. It's a little climb down to the beach but worth it. It isn't a swimming beach but a good spot for fishing. Keep an eye on the tides though.

Es un lugar maravilloso pero ojo las olas son fuertes y no recomendables para menores de edad.

Great stretch of coastline with very soft sand and gorgeous views. Note when we went there was a very agressive beehive on the path between the lookout to the beach. First time I've ever been swarmed but thankfully the ones that stung me only stung my jumper.

Not too bad. There are a lot of places better than this in York Peninsula.

Great lookout. However you will need to drive on a dirt road to get here, and climb up a steep sandbank on the way back
