Very efficient and helpful staff! This visitor center has a large parking lot and is easy to access. The visitor center has a wealth of maps and tourist information available free of charge. We didn't buy tickets online, so chose to buy the national park vehicle pass here. The staff were friendly and efficient in assisting me to complete the reservation on the computer. If you plan to come to the park, I would recommend that you book a vehicle pass online in advance or a campsite if you plan to camp.

Great place to visit for a few days. The people at the entrance and office were very helpful and informative. The camp grounds are very good with clean bush facilities. Lovely scenery to be seen as you drive around in the national park. Plenty of beach fishing sites tucked away in some of the bays and coves. All up a bloody nice place. Plenty of swimming beaches also. Only problem, the fishing was slack. Got some Tommies and squid and hooked into a big shark but never got to see it. May be next time we'll hook into something better. All very good. Jim

Absolutely one of the better national parks. Very impressed with the staff at the entrance area and all the NP facilities on offer. If camping for any length of time, come prepared and bring everything you need. There are no stores in this region. But well worth spending a week here.

Large national park with a number of points of interest. 2 lighthouses, old Inneston ruins (where you can stay in some of the restored buildings), breath taking scenery. There are a number of walks and places you can camp. It can get busy and you need a permit to enter. Permits can be purchased on site. The information centre is a little tired and the staff weren't that interested in helping.

A beautiful part of the world. You have to buy passes on the way into the park which are $13 or $10 (concession) for a car load of people.
The views are fantastic and some of the beaches would be up there in the top 50 in the country (I've been to a lot). There are some surfing, swimming, and good fishing spots. There are boat ramps too on the western points.

Still exploring, so far, it's beautiful, clean and huge. Entrance fee for a Day visit is currently at $12.50. Sadly we came late in the afternoon so we will come back to explore more of it.

Staff was friendly and provided us with information that helped us plan our day at the park. Entry fee per car of $11 applies. There are several beaches, light houses, lakes and campgrounds you can visit. I highly recommend spending a day exploring the park and taking the stunning landscapes.

Bush and beach together—what a special combination! We loved our time here, especially the emus and pelicans which we don't see around metro Adelaide. I had a great time trail running along the Thomson-Pfitzner Plaster Trail, through the ghost town, around a couple of the lakes, and around Stenhouse Bay. The trails are pretty well marked, especially the yellow 'Walk the Yorke' signposts. The historical information signs are well designed but were installed maybe 15 years ago and could do with a refresh. Only after our trip did we realise there are family activities held in the park—one for next time!

I stayed a week and it was long enough, I wish I brought a surf board, it would have kept me there longer. Great place to watch the sunset, beaches are plentiful and lovely. The old village is interesting, would not particularly recommend the hikes. It’s sad how badly the park was treated before it became a NP. They say we’ve learned, I’m not so sure.

Amazing national Park, well signed, well placed lookout points. Book online before you go, and you can pick up a paper map and local knowledge from the visitor centre before you go in if you like.
