The Imperial Homestead

Visited York to pick up a book I'd ordered and popped into The Imperial Homestead for afternoon tea. Had a perfect latte and a slice of homemade macadamia cake. So good! I am looking forward to my next visit, possibly to stay!.

I just want to say what a fabulous lunch we had at the Imperial Homestead last Thursday. A generous serving of freshly cooked food. Good service and friendly staff. I would highly recommend having lunch here.

Great pub, always had a great atmosphere, live music… we ordered a bunch on entrees… each one was entirely consumed!

Awesome food however was a long wait which they told us but food was so good and worth it massive serve of fish and chips ,lemon lime and bitters was lovely
My husband had a steak sandwich and my son had a waggu beef burger and they said it was also really yummy
Staff were very friendly and helpful

Absolutely Brilliant Food and Service was Great I had Hell Fire 🔥 Parmi with pork Belly Bites (Who puts pork Belly Bites on a parmi The Imperial Does Thats Who .)tender Chocken Couldn't Eat it all But they gave me a Takeaway container Wife had The pork Ribs OMG tender fall of the bone Ribs Sweet Sticky Brilliance the onion Rings are the bomb Coleslaw Cuts through it was amazing Also needed take away Container. If your In York you have to go to We Highly Recommend It .Didn't stay there to sleep so couldn't rate.

Great restaurant! Portions were great and prices reasonable, workers were friendly enough and was a cool place to eat as it's spread out so you can see the hotel and other parts if you want to sit outside.

Wow!! Stopped here for a quick drink on the way to our campsite. Decided to have a little snack and we were not disappointed. Pork belly bites and Spanish chorizo. Hands down one of the best meals I have ever had and friendly service too. Do yourself a favour and pay a visit to this place.

The restaurant is so beautiful, and staff is super friendly and helpful. I had parmi for dinner and it was delicious. Haven’t been to the rooms yet but definitely next time :))

Imperial Homestead in York, Western Australia, is a charming oasis! The accommodation is perfect, combining modern comfort with classic elegance. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. The lunch was delicious, and the courtyard is a great place to relax. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in York!

I just had lunch there with my friends during the long weekend. I understand they are busy. And they also remind us to wait about an hour.
I was thinking if the food is not good it’s okay to understand. But it’s still a great meal come to our table. All of us are enjoying the meal. I have to say that is the best fish and chips I ever had. I am so appreciate three chefs there offer us this beautiful meal even in the rush hour.Thank you!

Lovely place to spend a sunny leisurely afternoon.
We missed out on the baked brie, and ordered chips (though should probably have asked if they came with one of the meals - so we got double). Nothing mind blowing, but all fresh and well presented.

We ordered Lamb Shank & Wagyu Beef Burger for lunch, both are really good beyond expectation. Will defo come back when we are around again. Expect a bit of wait during busy time

8 of us travelled up to York on Saturday 12 November to watch 3 great bands perform out in the courtyard! It was a great night, and we enjoyed a lovely meal that was certainly not only delicious but very large! Very friendly staff and look forward to doing it again.

Lovely food and we were able to take our small dog onto the outside area which is fantastic. The staff were most helpful also bringing a bowl of water for dog. Can't fault.

We were here for dinner on a Sunday night.

The Food here was really good and the meal sizes are quite large plus service with a smile.

With being newly resorted, The atmosphere here is fresh, bright and inviting. Without taking away from its historic charm.

Out the back it has a great beer garden like are with a fire pit.

You definitely get what you pay for here.

I always enjoy going to the Imperial Homestead.

Chef was attentive and fabulous and my fussy partner was so impressed with his lamb rack … my filet minion was so a deconstructed 2022 edition of an old favourite ( and better ! ) … the sauces are really really next level great … is this pub food … ? Really impressed…

Busy perfect sunny day. Imperial staff short handed. Tough working conditions as town fills with tourists ... canola flowering amazing.
Food and service were wonderful and worth the wait, waiters so polite and apologetic.

What a beautiful homestead -all the staff were lovely, gorgeous hanging fire pit in the dog friendly courtyard. The local scotch fillet was Devine, melted in my mouth the flavour sensational.

Very generous servings of well prepared and thoughtful, tasty food. Good parmigiana sauce with ham and well browned cheese. The small tasting plates are good for getting an idea on the other dishes. We did have some confusion when ordering, even after checking, but you can't hold confusion against anyone, we got what we ordered and a bit more, all of which was amazing. I definitely recommend giving this place a go when in York.
