Having moved to the area a few months back, I was told by many that I should visit this place and have a feed and a beer. I finally got there a few weeks back and was astonished at how nice it is.
The owners introduced themselves and gave me a rundown on the place. You can tell they are very proud of it the way they presented the features and services.
So we order dinner and it was delightful. Well presented. Perfectly cooked. Went back NYE too and will be going again soon.

Great place to stay. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is basic, but clean.

Ripper location for camping, without having to drive for hours from the metro area. Non powered site have the million dollar views! On site shower and toilet facilities are simple and tidy. We didn't eat up at the restaurant but it looks amazing and we will on our next visit.

We stayed in our camper so can't comment on rooms, I see others with comments about "not kid friendly" we didn't have that experience. We took our 3yr old and didn't experience any negative responses. The powered site was easily accessible and level. No issues with noisy neighbours, even with a large birthday party on just down from us. I'm an aviation buff so aircraft noise wasn't an issue but was still not before 0730 on our days. Food at the restaurant was typical pub style. Nothing flashy but was served very hot and was very nice. Pricing was pretty normal maybe on the higher end but not outrageous in my opinion.

Beautiful location. Made very welcome by the lovely owners. Love the restaurant and their great food. Well priced. Loved everything about this gorgeous venue and caravan park.

It’s an airfield with accomodation and meals. Its a licensed venue. This is a location to be preserved. So close to Perth, but far enough to be remote.
Fantastic hosts, basic accommodation.
Meals and bar are sitting well or above par for country pub fare……but it’s not a country pub, it’s an exquisite and unique location.
Ten out of ten from our small group, we love it.

Friendly staff. The restaurant is very Australiana. Large meals. Definitely recommend.

Had a blast camping there. The food at the Tavern was good and priced well. The airplane tour was very interesting. That 4wd track is a Amazing! Your skills and nerves will be tested! Everyone was nice and friendly. Try the mini beer! We will be back

We camped at Whitegum Farm from 28-30 December 2022 and had a wonderful time. It was our first camping trip as a young family and couldn’t have been a better experience. The surrounds are peaceful; the kids loved the glider in the playground, and the brand new bathrooms and well equipped kitchen were well above what we’d been expecting. The on-site dam is accessed via locked gate which gave us peace of mind, and though it wasn’t open during our stay there’s a lovely looking cafe on site. Overall it was great value, a relaxed atmosphere and lovely place to stay. We’ll definitely be back.

We also took the opportunity to pop over to Northam Aquatic Facility which we can highly recommend for young families - mostly shallow pools, 4 great water slides and an on-site cafe.

This is a hidden gem AAA+ Restaurant and bar food is amazing. 4X4 track with a nice walk called the edge look out, plenty of room around the camping grounds. Highly recommended place to get away expecaly if you like aircraft with Boeing 737s near by and smaller aircraft flying at the airpark

Found this place on google maps as I was going to be passing through the area. What a gem of a place. I'm going to take the kids camping there now that I have seen the place.

These guys were very friendly! We loved our stay! We brought food from home, but ended up eating at the lake Kimberly bar and grill every night! Having a fire at our camp-site was great! The 4x4 course was a good bit of fun too :-) our site was large enough to accommodate 3 camper trailers and 4 cars easily! thank you very much for having us!

We were impressed, we stayed here over the weekend with 2 other caravans, the bathrooms were great, with showers and toilets in the same room and there was even a bath for the kids, (no mould like ive read on the other reviews)
The bar and grill was amazing! The kids danced and played outside and the food was great! The area is done very nicely!!!

4wd track wasnt open because of the weather but thats okay, we did a aeroplane tour and that was very interesting! We swam in the dam and enjoyed using the kayaks that were provided.

We will be back!

Amazing place to stay. Owners have thought of everything even supplying bug spray at the restaurant. Amenities are super clean. We could of swam in the dam for days. Friendly and helpful staff. A big thank you to Garry for helping my son get his car going again by supplying a part. Will definitely be back

What a great spot, we camped there in tents as a family of 5, and all of us had the best time.
Riding bikes, and kayaking in lake Kimberley.
Potable water, power, hot showers, flushing toilets, campfires permitted on your site. We will be back and we will be bringing friends to enjoy all that’s on offer.
We dined at the on-site bar one evening, wow what atmosphere and bloody great food.
Such a hidden gem.
The 4wd park was a bonus, we went on it a couple of times during our stay.

What an awesome place. Gary & Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sites were large with easy to access. Ablutions were very clean. Rubbish bins were available at entry. Restraurant food was fantastic service very efficient . The general ambiance of the place was lovely. If the ones complaining of Managment they might need to look at their behaviour as the management are there for the comfort and safety of all guests.
Gary. Congratulations to you on a wonderful thoughtful design that covers a lot of travellers taste and needs. If there was a negative it was only it was hard to find our way back to camp site in dark from Restrauant. A sign for entrance to path with solar light would be helpful. Again many thanks for making our stay such a wonderful experience.

Just stayed for one night and was really impressed with the facilities. Can’t wait to come back for a bit longer and try out the restaurant and bar!
