Dieudonne

Just spent a week in this total gem of a spot. Such a find! I mostly spent it sitting by the river that runs through the backyard with a book and a box of munchies from the bakery, watching the little wrens and deer and horses graze on the other side of the bank...I felt like Snow White, though unfortunately none of the woodland creatures were the kind that also do the housework for you🤔...still pretty freaking fantastic :)
It’s a big, beautiful house tucked away in a jaw-droppingly beautiful part of the world. Everything is easy, cosy, quiet and lovely - the gardens, the decor, the big porches, even the big laundry, the gadgets and appliances. It’s got a really well stocked kitchen and games and books and a big TV, plus nothings too fragile and easily destroyed, so great for kids. There’s cute cafes, a nice pub and a general store up the road, and apparently there’s walking and cycling trails to die for - I was practicing my niche sport of extreme laziness on holidays though, so I wouldn’t know. The rooms were all equally nice too, so if you go with friends there’s not that awkwardness about who got the great room and who got the converted broom cupboard! 10 points 😊
