Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens, Lower Carpark

Loved this place for its scenic view, beautiful flower plantation and lake. Good place to hang out with friends and family. Great picnic place for groups. Ducks and Kangaroo are easy to spot. Ample parking space and clean washrooms. Thumbs up to the place. Cheers.

One of the best scenic Botanic Gardens we visited. Wonderful facilities to stroll around, very peaceful location.

Great place to be in adelaide. Autumn is the best time to be there. The views and natural beauty freshen up anyone’s mind. Very good place for family picnic, hiking and outdoor fun.

Great place to bring family or friends for a nice stroll, picnic, birthday celebration or even a hike.

There's public toilets, a water fountain to fill up your bottle and when I went the parking was free, but usually it's paid parking.

There's plenty of benches to sit at here and there's also nearby cafes if you didn't bring any food with you although expect to drive to those cafes to reach as they aren't quick to walk to.

Beautiful tranquil gardens, relxing scenic rest spots and picnic areas. It is very steep and hilly so park at the bottom carpark if you don't want to walk up too many hills.

A very beautiful place, absolutely no doubt about it, we couldn't get enough of seeing the place, they even had Kangaroos near the lake.

Always beautiful, no matter which season. A highlight are the blue wrens which live here, and the gorgeous water lillies. I come here regularly.

I think this carpark is better than the upper one, especially for people with disabilities & for the elderly.

One of the best places within just 30 minutes drive from Adelaide City.

Lower car park is closer to open picnic area and reservoir.

Beautiful all year round but really stunning in autumn. Lots of paths paved and otherwise to explore. Easiest access to avoid dirt paths and steep climbs is use lower carpark.

What a stunning place to Visit in Autumn. The colours in the Adelaide Hills are breathtakingly beautiful. The trees at Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens are having shades of red, orange and yellow and are so vibrant and amazing. The walk around the lake and along the tracks and through the Gullies takes you through so many different areas. The lake itself is pretty and full of ducks and a few swans. Took my brother there after living in Adelaide for 50 years. A great family place. Well worth for the trees flowers and scenery. Give your self plenty of time you get thrown out at closing time. No cafe. Just toilets.

Amazing! Public holiday parking is apparently free?? At least I didn't have to pay! Great to see kids playing out in nature with not a phone in sight!!! 😯

The gardens are exquisite paid parking which is inexpensive,top and bottom entrance plenty of paths to explore with beautiful lake in bottom rare always changing with the seasons as a variety of plants flowering,garden seating for picnics large grass area in bottom entrance.wheelchair and disabled parking public toilets at bottom entrance.
