Tikalara Park

Quite and scenic park. Home to eastern grey kangaroos and native birds. I’ve seen wombats and echidna’s here however this is rare. Swampy area with many frog species. Beautiful bird song. Area accessible by walking track.

Beautiful tranquil spiritual place alive with wildlife. Accessible for all abilities, seating, shelter and bbq and drinking water available.

Usually this place are quite and peaceful. During the lockdowns saw lots of people out about. Lots of kangaroos, birds, rabbits. Haven't spot any snakes yet!
Make sure you wears comfortable walking footwear. Most of the footpath are on gravel.

Really good walking experience which was very enjoyable. Track is wide and solid until you hit the road at the end where it becomes loose stone. Open views in most parts with good nature views, still has a lot of mature trees about. Water and birdlife as well. Links up with trails so you can make a longer time of it.

Don't come here, it's a special place for my son and I. If you do go, don't leave any rubbish or ill hunt you down!!
Some waterbirds, a kookaburra and a seat to watch them. Free BBQ under shelter and a water fountain is there.
No rubbish please, take it home, there are No Bins.

Beautiful area for wildlife. Park on Websters Rd in Templestowe Business Park for easy access to the path via main entrance on Websters Rd.

Such a beautiful setting on the Yarra River. A great place to walk or cycle and see some native Australian wildlife.

It is excellent pedestrians and bicycling facilities.
