Toi Shan Chinese Restaurant

Last night, Hubby and I had dinner here for the first time. Food is very tasty!! Everything we ordered was delicious. This is one of the first places I have dined at that doesn't load their mains with onion as a filler - the ratio of meat to good veg was perfect and veggies were crisp and not soggy. Fried rice was super tasty and had that beautiful seasoned woke taste.
Recommended the spring rolls and hot and sour tofu soup (take not vegetarians the soup has chicken in it also) Super affordable. We haven't been dining out much because the cost of living has soared but this place is very affordable.
Definitely recommend and I look forward to going back!

Thanks, Toi San (Chinnese restaurant) is very tasty food. It nostalgic when, i went to Singapore and ate the fried rice with the same taste like Toi San made. I also appriciate the Elder, who working in there. Be healty and always smile like usual grandpa and gradma in Toi San.

OMG you haven't tried honey chicken until you've tried the one from here. Also very competitively priced. Can feed a family of 4 for under $50 including delivery which seems to be getting more rare all the time. The delivery driver was even awesome. Give it a go. Amazing!!

Returned to Bendigo for the s’internationalise Badminton tournament 12-16 Oct. had to visit Eddie, who is now cheerfully cooking beside his boss.
Loved the CKT & Honey beef Steak.
Had Hokkien noodles (ala Msian style) too on another day.

Food is of good quality and much more authentic than other options in town. Strong flavours and the fried rice is actually fried well. Love the take away mix packs - that's what made me try them and keeps me coming back. Definitely try one for a good quick mid-week meal 👍

Great country town Chinese food cobbas. Honey chicken, sweet and sour pork and Mongolian steak all bonza. Ripper of a prawn cracker as well.

Best Chinese food in my life .. I would drive back from Western Australia again just to eat here .. divine combination served on a sizzling pan wrapped in egg .. next level. I will never forget this experience.. thank you Toi Shan from Peggy x

Their food taste good. We enjoyed it. Went there around 430pm Saturday. The place is so quiet. Had noodles, fried rice, sweet and sour pork, sweet prawn and a bitter citrus or lemon drink (can't remember actual name). Staffs are accommodating.

We decided to try this restaurant despite seeing some of the bad reviews and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered fried rice, homemade dimsum and springrolls, wonton soup, honey chicken, Singapore noodles and stir-fry vegetables. They were all delicious and authentic. Singapore noodles has really good wok-hei. Very happy to see a family restaurant like this who have withstand the test of time. Will be coming back. Thank you very much.

I always order the prawn chow mein as it’s the best I’ve had anywhere - husband likes the Mongolian pork with fried rice - it’s delicious. The staff are always friendly & welcoming. Sue is a delight. With Chinese tea & prawn crackers it’s a treat! Top it off with cream & lychees or deep fried bananas & you’ll want to return as often as we do - now we’ll probably have to make a reservation 🤗 but I do agree some appropriate fine dining music would be a plus, if only so the sounds of others dining noises are muffled. 👍

I went there for a friend’s birthday. We all ended up going a bit rogue and ordering outside the menu. They made a whole lot of special vegan and gluten free dishes to accomodate my dietary requirements. The cauliflower was to die for. I’ll be going back many times again for this dish alone.
