Gone Fishin

If I'm being honest, I only come here for Yeti products and haven't the slightest clue about fishing, but all the staff here is lovely and helpful. Today I was purchasing a new drink bottle and Liza was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with the range of products, as well as super friendly and funny. She's definitely a great salesperson whilst not being pushy or anything. Will de finitely be coming back

Driven past this place so many times and never went in until last week. WOW, Aladdin's cave of tackle, rods, gear. Super helpful, experienced and knowledgeable staff. Definitely my Go-to tackle shop now. First class 👍🏼👍🏼

Went in this afternoon, a lady who worked here came over to me and gave me plenty of great information as I’m new to fishing, defiantly not a pushy salesman but informative and helpful, overall a very good fishing shop and I’ll only buy my stuff from here from now on, it’s great seeing staff who actually have a passion for there job

Well done to Danny, Lachlan and the team at Gone Fishin. Nice to know that there still are real Fishing Tackle Stores in Melbourne where the people that work there fish and know where the fish are. Gone Fishin has all of the best brands in stock and everyone is always happy help with anything I need. Would highly recommend to anyone living in Metro Melbourne or surrounding areas to drive that little bit further as it’s definitely worth the drive. Support local business as they well and truly deserve it. Well done to you all and keep up the good work from another very happy customer.

I purchased a rod protection tube for a trip to Fiji. I was packing my gear ready for the morning flight and my runners were too big for the tube… Emergency!!! I called Danny at 9:30pm he agreed to meet me at the shop early and do a swap for the correct gear! What a legend!!! Thanks Danny catastrophe averted and hopefully I catch a fish or too.

So impressed with the service! I wanted to purchase a gift for my boyfriend but didn't want to travel to the store under the restrictions, and also had no idea what to purchase. Rang up and asked for some advice. The staff put together a small gift package within my budget, and made a custom made online purchase order to make payment fast and easy. Even delivered it to my home address in a gift bag! Above and beyond service! Very happy.

I purchased a Lowrance HDS 7 LIVE from these guys and asked if they could give me a couple of tips on how to install it .
The amount of time they spent with me on how to install it was fantastic .
it was like good old fashioned customer service and there knowledge was excellent .

Shopped at Gone Fishing for years and find All the staff very help full,all ways good advice.

Wandered in to the store with my two young boys - first time boat fishing and was provided with ample advise and assistance with the right bait and the right spots. Proof was in the pudding : 20 (undersized) fish caught (and returned) but great fun. Thanks guys. We will be back next time we are heading down EastLink.
