Third Chapter

We had breakfast at Third Chapter. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was really nice, and the staff were very friendly. Our order arrived very quickly. We will definitely be going back.

I used to come here a few years ago and the coffee, hot chocolate and food was all really delicious! And still it stands that it's as delicious and even a bit more. The hot chocolate and mocha that my partner had were superb! I had the bacon Benedict and Brioche French Toast my partner had were scrumptious and delicious and very flavoursome.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you come here for every occasion especially breakfast.

Came here for lunch with work colleagues during the week. It was busy but we were seated within 5mins which was a great start. Staff were accommodating even if we can see how busy they are.
Orders came in quick. The Angus steak sandwich was nicely made. Chips on the side were hot and crisp. The chicken tikka skewer was flavourful and could feed up to 2 people. Will definitely come back here next time.

I ordered the green salad. I could not eat it all, so would have preferred a smaller option as I hate to waste food. But the service was good & the background music was relaxing. Overall a pleasant lunch experience.

I ordered Buttermilk Hotcakes and when it came i found out it is a pancakes .
I tried Kale, Zucchini & Halloumi Fritters it was good but I feel it is missing something like a squees of lemon.

We are a brunch family and experts at the smashed avocado scene. Recently we went to Third Chapter after changing from The Common which I didn't like. We sat in outside in the autumnal sun surrounded by dogs, friendly people and good. The waitress (wish I got her name) was fantastic and so helpful. Service was good considering how busy they were. Drinks in say 5 minutes. Food in 15 after ordering.
Fresh wholesome food. The big breakfast I saw two guys eating was huge.
Then today I took my daughter here and we had the most lovely saganyaki with figs plus the 600grams of chicken wings and two iced chais. Everything was lovely. This place has found a great formula for attracting a variety of people. Good takeaway, cakes and slices. Dine inside or out. Dietaries catered for.
Good parking which is free. Wheelchair friendly. Toilets are clean. High chair is available.
Highly recommend.

Much better than the place that preceded it. Perfect smashed avocado. Balanced and inventive flavours, but still a classic. Olive oil and sumac the perfect light touch. Good coffee. Very comfy chairs. Light and open space with living greenery and plenty of customers.

Busy Saturday lunchtime at this café in central Eltham. Got seated quickly. Menu is extensive ranging from breakfast, lunch, dinner options as well as share plates. Decent wine list with glasses starting from $9.90. I had the zucchini and haloumi fritters on beetroot puree with avocado, kale chips and a poached egg. It was delicious. Prices are in the region of $20 for breakfast and $25 plus for lunch or dinner items. It was busy with people but not obnoxiously noisy. Recommended!

One of the busiest cafe in Eltham. I was lucky enough to have a table for 2 on a fine Sunday morning. There are a wide selection of all day breakfast on the menu. But the full menu actually start at 11am. The food and drink are what you would expect from a quality cafe. Outdoor and indoor seating are available when the weather is good.

One of our favourite local cafes! Have had about half the menu and enjoyed everything. Great customer service too, staff are always friendly and welcoming!

I had a nice lunch with my mother in this restaurant. Meal is pretty good and environment is very good as well.

Awesome food! Portion sizes aren't silly small like a lot of places, and the price is excellent for the amount of food you get. You don't mind paying extra for bacon when it gets you a stack of it, and the smashed avo definitely didn't skimp out on the avocado either which was a nice surprise. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the lack of matcha flavour in the smoothie, but it was still a really good smoothie

These guys have given us something to look forward to each day during the COVID period, staff are always friendly no matter how busy they are. They greet my son with a joke and a smile and their coffee is the best in Eltham. The meals are always consistent and creative and above all taste great. Keep supporting these guys so we can get them thru the lockdowns and enjoy better days.

Third Chapter is such a great place to meet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. An all time favourite for me is the 'Trio of Tacos'. They are absolutely delicious and extremely filling, still allowing room for dessert. Highly recommend popping in!

Such amazing and accommodating staff at third chapter, food is so tasty and the service is fast! Love the outdoor area to take your dogs too
