The Bunker - Springwood

Stopped with Chapman Tour after visiting Three Sisters for Lunch. I had the „Schnitzel“ and it tasted just like it does in Europe = delicious

By the way, Chapman Tour (booked via Viator) is a fantastic company - very hands on and helpful. They also proved breakfast for us.

The service from Lanshay was absolutely superb, very efficient at clearing the table when needed, very nice and professional. The food was amazing and came out at an impressive pace. The gin special was a nice subtle drink that went down very smooth too.

The Bunker is one of my favourite restaurants in the Blue Mountains. I highly recommend! They are Coeliac friendly, always willing to cater for this by making alternatives to certain meals such as the garlic bread (GF Bread). Excellent atmosphere, friendly service, and amazing food. My favourite meal on the menu is the pork meatballs. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went to the Bunker Springwood on a nice Sunday morning. The staff were very friendly and we were sat on the veranda, the atmosphere was very peaceful. Me and my partner had the roast beef sandwich and corn fritters with bacon. The food was excellent and arrived quickly, a very positive experience.

A lovely night out. The food was fantastic and the rib eye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. The staff were friendly, engaging and attentive. I would definitely come back or try their other location in Leura. Highly recommended!

Their coffee is so good, breakfast was amazing. They were pretty busy when we went there, but they were still great at making sure everyone got taken care of. Coming back for sure!

Partner and I went for breakfast. Food and coffee tasted lovely and was presented well. We sat outside and the greenery, shade and lights were cute.
Our server, Amber, was so lovely. She was welcoming, bright, bubbly and attentive. Lovely way to start the day, thanks Amber and the Bunker team <3

Our host/waiter Lakshay was highly courteous and attentive for our dinner tonight. The lamb shoulder main course was excellent as was the sticky date pudding. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great food

The Bunker in Springwood is an icon of the town. All of the staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food is always of the highest quality.
Lakshay, is usually there with a friendly smile. He knows our regular order and goes out of his way to accommodate our needs.
There is a large dog friendly outdoor area which is a winner for us.
Perfect for any time of the day.

It’s a busy weekend in Leura and you can definitely get away from hustle n bustle around Leura mall to enjoy a lovely breakfast at the Bunker Cafe. I loved this property, very convenient with its own parking area at the front. It wasn’t busy at all at 9AM this morning and we were sitting by the window near the heater while its ❄ snowing outside. Nice and cosy! cafe has the beautiful colonial style furniture n fittings. The food was lovely, generous portions, value for money. Staff was equally nice and welcoming ❤. I would highly recommend this place, much better than overpriced ones around.

Beautifully set-up indoor and outdoor. The hostess was delightful. The food was amazing, drinks were good but the desserts yummmm well presented and beautiful. Clean and good value for money. Love the place and the ambience. Highly recommended.

Leura and Katoomba are typically what people (especially tourist) think of when they relate to towns to visit in the Blue mountains. However the path less taken can often lead to pleasant suprises especially in the mountains. The Bunker is a refined establishment nestled within cozy village of Springwood. Both the breakfast and lunch menu offer a diverse range food option to satisfy the fussiest of palates (noticed that there is a Christmas dinner set menu as well!). My breakfast bowl was super healthy but more importantly, taste fantasic (this should not be taken for granted). The coffee was great as well. I also enjoyed the ambience including the live music to accompany the food. Furthermore they have ipads and crayons available to keep the little ones in check. Great experience!

Great food, lovely location(btw, the location on Google maps is misleading & says near anytime fitness, but this is on the main road between BWS & Subway but on other side of the road). Loved the overall experience here. They do accept NSW Dine & discover vouchers.

Had a spectacular dinner here. Food was great and the service was excellent. The staff were very attentive, the stand-out being the manager Lakshay! Thank you Bunker staff!

I've never been to a restaurant that has delivered the food so piping hot ever before!! It was refreshing!! Maybe it was because we were on Table 1!!@
I had the Tasmanian Salmon steak (YEAH support Tassie fishing industry!) with sweet potato chips and my wife had the salt & pepper squid with an unusual but delightful salad!! The salmon was beautifully cooked and still piping hot when I got it & the calamari was beautifully smooth not rubbery at all and so tasty it gotta have it!!! We'll be back!!
But even though they had a social distancing Marshall complete with Orange vest they didn't do social distancing very well at all - especially when you went to pay the check at the end there was no room for anyone to pass...and they didn't keep their distance but very hard on a busy Fathers' Day!!!
