Would not go anywhere else in town (and I have!). Busy for a reason, fixed a problem another mechanic told me was "fine to drive on" (it wasn't, and especially as I was going from Vic to Qld with a load in the car, could have caused a lot of engine damage). Yet another mechanic quoted me an hour's work ($126) just to diagnose the issue. Firebird found the issue, fixed the part and did a full service for just over $200. Not to mention taking pictures to show me what had been wrong and showing me.

Fantastic service, worth booking ahead and waiting for them to be free.

Despite the reviews being great - I had an experience where they thought it’d be okay to mention things were wrong with my car that after a second opinion along with a roadworthy wasn’t actually the case. I don’t like to assume it was possibly an ageist tactic on their behalf (I’m 25) but I will definitely not be returning to this mechanics in Woodend.

The office was incredibly messy which is only a reflection of the service I received - the lady, I believe her name is Linda was rude on the phone as well as in person.

Please avoid and choose elsewhere.
