Great range, good prices and excellent sushi made on the premises

I would prefer noone knew but this is the new best supermarket in Woodend. Quiet - that won't last. Easy parking, great range, lovely staff. Delicious sushi is lunch.

Modern store

The store has improved since the takeover by Ritchies. Firstly they have made an effort to expand the grocery department through the removal of some less-used registers, the store also is no longer understaffed.

Was pleasantly surprised. Nice to see some different brands and products around. Sometimes you want to try a new line or want that extra nice product instead of the same old same old. Staff were very friendly, they were having a few glitches here and there! But that's too be expected with any new venture I think. My main gripe that needs to be addressed is: We purchased sushi for our lunch. The fillings were fine, but the Nori sheet's was very leathery - a sure sign its going or is already stale. Not nice!
We went in for a quick look, half an hour had gone by and a lot lighter wallet later we left.😄 Will definitely be going back especially if they keep on the lines of "Local" "New Products" "Friendliness" and a good amount of "Staff" available at the registers and on the floor.

Well priced broad product range for a relatively small Supermarket far superior to when Coles were in the same building
