Goldfields Café and Bar

Dropped in for lunch after going to the Lume, very relaxed, comfortable seating staff are very friendly and the food was prepared beautifully. It came out hot and very quickly.

Seats are soooo comfortable. Cafe is close to the Lume and the staff are so friendly. Even liked that they have airdrops and heaps of charging outlets. Coffee was alright.

It was nice place to hang out. We had a really long chat over the coffee. It was fun and convenient for formal and informal meetings.

I tried Chai Latte, choco muffins and other muffins, the Sovereign food in the picture are very good. Chai Latte reached the sweet I love, best in the town, my boyfriend loved all the muffins here. Will come back and try all the foods in the menu 😋

One thing that helped me survive an 8-days long congress were the oat-milk flat whites from this place. With an extra shot to deal with an awful jetlag. Sure, you can find many fancy-looking hipster gourmet-coffee places in the city, this place does not pretend to be one of them. It is simply a reasonable coffee place in the convention centre and they do their job right. Plus the people there are always friendly. Cheers!

Lovely staff and great coffee. They ere closing up but was still happy to serve us and the coffee was well made. Blood Orange drink is nice too

Great food and service. The only suggestion is to introduce a kids menu. In the absence of that they were very accommodating to ajust the menu items for my kids

The vegetarian toastie was delicious and cooked very well.

The Kale salad was fresh and delicious and the service was quick and friendly. I liked the set up of tables and chairs in the open space. I host client events at MCEC so I'll definitely be back.

After my initial complaint, the service was exceptional. MCEC management went above and beyond to ensure myself and my daughter have memorable time.

And thank you for the Bday cake I have never been little embarrassed and surprise at same time. It was very memorable. Thank you for the kind gesture.

DO NOT USE THE ONLINE BOOKING.

Booked table online in September paid for it got confirmation email. Table for 2 including parking offer.
Received email in November confirming ! My booking been changed with No Offer. Now in January have been calling restaurant number and trying online chat and NO one is available to answer phone or chat. Called MECC "customer service" and phone answered by Security! Basically if there is not events on expect NO service from anyone.

Cancelled my reservation no mention of refund. I will be taking this matter further.

Very displeased and worst service so far.
