Clancy's Fish Bar

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Clancys is a big, spacious restaurant with lots of sea-facing window seating. Even though it was busy, we were suitably attended by very friendly wait staff and our orders came quickly. Everything was incredibly tasty and the portions were massive. We could easily have done with one less main between the three of us. Highly recommended. In my top 3 fish and chips experiences in WA.

We love this place. It is our favourite the city beach for a decade. :) With the piraty interior and kind of self-made Robinson Crusoe structure and furniture. It is just perfect. Genious views and location. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I am only missing the balkan-style Fried Whitebait (Fried Tiny Fish) on the menu.

Perfect location on the water, enclosed from the weather but spectacular views from the surrounding windows. The food was good, they split bills and had QR codes on the table to order.
It was perfect at sunset.

Always a great location at sunset. Food served promptly, generous portions and great flavour. It is not fine dining, but well above your standard beach cafe. A place for family and friends to enjoy one another's company.

The food never disappoints here! The fish was beautiful cooked and came with a yummy salad full of dufferent textures and bursts of flavour, in a light and healthy zingy tasting dressing perfectly seasoned. In addition to that, the service was above and beyond given how many allergy demands I had to request and staff remained polite, helpful and cheery! Thanks for a lovely lunch experience on christmas eve 😋

Food we choose was delicious Barramundi (portion you are served is not the same as shown in the picture, its smaller, aside from this it was delicious)charrad broccolini in a mushroom ketchup, chatting masala potatoes. Definitely would return.

Best sea food and views in Perth! Great atmosphere and service.

Clancy's is a great place for seafood that's great value and well prepared. Situated right on the beach with amazing views and easy parking. Lots of space for big gatherings if needed and a great atmosphere. Good beers on tap. Never disappointed here, did I mention great service too... Yes I really like Clancy's.

Enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Clancy's Fish Bar over the weekend for my neices 19th birthday dinner. My family and I were well looked after with wonderful smiling faces who attended us with amazing service. 👏🏾
Our food and drinks were brought to us and served in no time at all!! We used the mini iPad to order which was very sufficient on getting our food out so fast! 🙌🏾

The food was a 10/10 from our experience, we all had delicious food and the presentation was appetising on the eyes, as we eat with our eyes first 😄. 😍😋

The sort of experience you only get in Perth. Reasonably priced food. Excellent view. Outdoor eating. People from all walks of life.

I would say that it is expensive (maybe related to the public holiday). But the food really was excellent (pasta and mussels). Beautiful beach views. Unusual to order from a tablet in Western Australia but worked well and food came quickly. Certainly worth a visit.

Food (fish & chips) was quick to arrive and a good portion and nice cooked & presented as always.
Coffee in the mornings arrives pretty quickly and is delicious.
Less impressed with their online ordering inside - I find it less personal. And it's difficult to catch a waiter's attention nowadays.
Still love the sunset and open windows and breeze blowing through and sand and sign that says "flops welcome"!

I had a lovely farewell lunch there with some girl friends, what a great spot it is.

Right by the ocean, beautiful city beach can have crashy waves, but that day was perfect for swimming.

I love this place, when I am back I will go again.

There is plenty of parking and the foreshore was full of families and singles enjoying the best of Perth summer.

The food was great, they cater for everyone. Prices were very reasonable and serving of food were generous.

Service was excellent too, but best of all was the atmosphere; people come here to enjoy themselves.

I cannot speak highly enough of the place. Locals and tourists from all walks of life are welcomed here, and nothing is too much trouble. Staff were happy to oblige with every request.

There was no pressure to leave, the place was packed.

This is an instance of excellent management, they do not take advantage of the spectacular location by serving shoddy food with horrible service like some other beachside eateries such as 'Coast' on Port Beach.

Clancy's at City Beach is a star-player.

Such a great place to eat with beautiful views and service. I tried the Filipino Pork Adobo and for me it was very authentic with coconut rice and pork crackling. Frozen Margaritas….. well I tried to only have one.

Can't fault our visit yesterday. Arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon and were taken straight to a table with gorgeous views of the ocean. Introduced to their tablet ordering system which made ordering streamlined and super quick, with the option to pay online via the tablet too.

Both food and drinks came out in good time, the snapper was absolutely delicious with the coleslaw being fresh, tangy and more than just a side to the fish and chips.

Clancy has a great location here with lovely beach views. There's a nice playground outside the beach bar for kids to be entertained, and the staff were pretty kid friendly. Overall the service was good and fast
Ordering at the table via a tablet. The decorations and eclectic decor make this a fun quirky setting, but the fabulous views are truly the star of the show. The good is good, and decent selection. I would definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

New Year's Eve, thousands of people at City Beach. I ordered the family fish and chips ($68). I was expecting a very long wait given how many people were ordering food. To my surprise it only took 10 minutes. To my even bigger surprise, the food was excellent. Nice and crispy batter and great chips. Very generous servings of tomato sauce and aoili too! Very good Clancy's!

Just the best place for eats! They are coeliac gluten free friendly, amazing location and the kids will have a great time! We ordered the lemon pepper squid and the tuna tataki with a fish and chips for the kiddies. Everything was so tasty and arrived really quickly. The view was stunning and the staff were really lovely with a great sense of humour. Will be heading back to try more of their menu next time!
