Laneway 73 Cafe Anglesea

Great little cafe near the beach with beautiful old style interior. Had muffins and coffee for our breakfast with family. Barista and the waitress were friendly and polite. Loved this place and would definitely visit again.

We are up here on Holidays from the Peninsula! Stopped by to get some coffees which were amazing. Service was even better and owner let us try some of his famous canolies which delicious. Must come and try 🙂🙂🙂

The paninis are delicious, relaxed setting with great service from friendly staff. Edit: the cannolis and portuguese tarts are yum also

Such a great little cafe just a few minutes away from the beach. Owner is very nice funny and friendly, such a great character. Beats the coffee in Melbourne! Iced chocolate must try!

The coffee and sweet Danish were delicious. Sure, there was a bit of a wait on the coffee but it goes to show how popular this place is.

One of the best coffee in the region. If you are a big fan of Italian Pastry, Dessert. This will be the place for a cup of Espresso and the dessert. Friendly staffs with patient to take the order with different dietry needs. Really enjoy the time been with families here. Great relaxing dinning experience.

Great coffee & homemade Cannoli with warm hospitality ❣

A pretty laidback, relaxed and friendly little cafe in the main shopping area of Anglesea. The lunch menu had a good range of reasonably priced meals such a pannis and pizzas.I had the pulled pork panni which was very nice. We also grabbed some cannolis as we left that were extremly tasty.

We came in just on closing time and he bent over backwards to accommodate us. Very nice food, esp the vegetarian panini!! Will definitely go there again when in Anglesea!

Thank you to the lovely boys at laneway 73. The coffee was fabulous and the birthday macaroons were divine. We will be back.

The better half and I were driving around Torquay looking for something for lunch but not much open on a Tuesday so then went on to Anglesea. We stopped and had a look at the strip and stopped and had a look at this place. We both ordered pizza. Better half ordered a latte to go with and I had a beer. We saw pizzas come out for other people and thought they weren't too big, good size for lunch. We added olives to the prosciutto. Pizzas were really good, coffee was great, staff were friendly. We would go back no worries. We would try some of the desserts or pastries next time. We didn't this time only because we were full. 9/10

The lovely man operating the coffee machine each morning is a weapon at his job. Knows locals names , pumps out delicious coffee efficiently and service with a smile. Nice Cafe with yummy coconut drops too. 😋

I love how this place toasts their paninis to perfection!! Look at that golden brown color, each bite was so amazingly crispy and warm, the perfect meal to combat the chilly weather. The portion was pretty huge for $12, and I really enjoyed my chicken schnitzel panini. Great flat-white to go too.

Might be the best cafe I’ve been to in my life. (And I go to a lot of cafes). The best panini and chai I’ve ever had, hands down. If I lived here, I’d come here daily. The cutest seating area, lovely music, and NICEST staff. 10/10 recommend. So glad we found this little hole in the wall. Stayed here for hours and ordered several rounds of paninis as we escaped from the cold.

BEST COFFEE ON THE SURF COAST
A trip along the surf coast cannot start without a coffee here... it's a must! It doesn't matter what you order, it's all great, especially the Magic (a test for any barista). Pastries are to die for.
And to top it all off, the owner is one of the great characters that makes you smile everytime. Damn he works hard,but always smiles and jokes.
