I was recently on holiday and shopped here. I purchased some jeans/pants and a scarf. All three ladies - Janis, Charlotte and Tif were excellent and I had a fun experience whilst buying great clothing at reasonable prices. Worth a visit if you are in town. Thanks Ladies

Quality & friendliness is the reason why I always shop at “GUNS & ROSES”, ANGLESEA, where Janis stocks the most amazing, fantastic jewellery, perfume & clothing.

I have never walked out of this magnificent store without purchasing either clothes, jewellery or perfume.

Janis’s prices are fantastic & really worth every penny!

So, if you ever travel down the coast to Anglesea, make sure you stop by this delightful store & say “hello” to lovely Janis – you won’t be sorry!!

Don't know why there are so many bad reviews about this boutique?! Fabulous shop with a wide range of exquisite pieces!! Charlotte so friendly and lovely to talk to. Yes it is a bit pricey but no different to most of the boutiques I in nearby Lorne.. 😊😊

Abysmal customer service. Walked in in my running gear to buy bathers and was instantaneously judged by the older short haired blonde retail assistant. I was made to feel as though I was theiving. She was just so so rude. The second retail assistant wasn’t much better and only became welcoming once she saw i wanted to buy something. It is also terribly over-priced. I would definitely look elsewhere. I will be warning everyone I know that heads down that way.

Most disgusting customer experience ever. I have never felt so disrespected by a manager in my life. When we walked in (speaking a language other than english) the manager’s body language changed and she became hostile and rude towards us. She would follow our every move as if we were going to steal from the store. When we asked her how much items were, she didn’t even look us in the eyes and would sternly and condescendingly tell us the price. We were willing to spend hundreds and we were treated horribly. To think that this was the manager who treated us like this has made this experience worse. It’s clear that racism is still alive in Anglesea surprisingly considering most of their proceeds come from tourists.

Horrible experience. Have never been treated so rudely as a customer in all my life. Was ready to spend hundreds of dollars on bathers and when I asked if I could try them on, I was treated as though I was a common thief. If you go for a walk on the beach, don't wear your active wear into the store because obviously you'll be judged by appearance.
In the words of Julia Roberts "Big mistake......huge!!"

Similar to other reviews, you will be judged by appearance and colour. You have been warned, not a welcoming store at all.

About Anglesea
Town in Australia

Anglesea is a town in Victoria, Australia. It is located on the Great Ocean Road in the Surf Coast Shire local government area. In the 2016 census, Anglesea had a population of 2,545 people. Originally known as Swampy Creek, the area's name was changed to Anglesea River in 1884 when the township was established. A Post Office under that name opened on 16 April 1886. and was renamed Anglesea in 1950. The name derives from Anglesey, an island in North Wales. Alcoa of Australia operated a power station and open-cut coal mine near the town from 1969 until August 2015. The site is now the subject of restorative work. In February 1983, the Ash Wednesday fires swept through the area, destroying many houses. source
