First time around this area. This restaurant have lunch specials deal choose your main with steam/fried rice and a can of drink of choice for $12. Gotta say great deal and happy meal. The girl at counter were given good hospitality with smile and serving u free prawn cracker and water. The fried rice is done well not too dried nor too salty or too oily compared many other cta. I ordered salt n peppers calamari my fav dish and here they did not disappointed me at all...great portions as well. Remarkable meal. If i live nearby local this would be my choice of Chinese take aways.

I’m local and have waited for years for a half decent Chinese restaurant to come to Montrose. Well Forbidden palace has great food, great service and really quick. We have been ordering from them for a few years now and I highly recommend.

Really impressed with quality of food. Beef noodle soup was incredibly filling, with lots of Veges. Loved the spring rolls. Will be ordering again

for a $15.9 lunch buffet and $22.9 dinner buffet, you can get soup, fried noodle and fried rice, beef(eye fillet!) , pork, chicken, seafood, and ice cream.

Our FAVOURITE place to eat! Such beautiful customer service! Free prawn crackers on arrival and offered a refill! The BEST (so flavoursome) veggie fried rice and crisp sweet honey chicken! Nicely spread out and easy to take little kids to. Highly recommend :)

Lots of reviews are angry about them not being open but still receiving orders via Uber eats. I think that’s not fair for their overall rating as the food is good and was made quickly. Unfortunately many people may not try them because of the reviews but I don’t think this is fair. Recommend!

Always my go to takeaway when I’ve had a long day and don’t want to cook. They are always quick and get my order right. Most importantly, I love the food!

Great customer service I got free prawn crackers and the food was good and the tables wa good but the online ordering a little stupid but overall nice restaurant

Lovely experience dining here with my family. Food was fresh, hot and consistently being topped up. There are a great range of dishes, as well as a great ice cream bar for dessert too.
We were greeted upon arrival, and welcomed to dig straight in - no waiting around, we were able to just start enjoying a great meal.
Pricing is fair for a buffet, and there were plenty of people coming in for self-serve takeaway too - which in itself was a nice testimony.
Will be back!

First visit this evening we tried the Sweet n Sour Pork and also the Honey Chicken. Both were very tasty and appeared to be fresh. Staff were pleasant. Next time we'll take advantage of their takeaway buffet option where we can sample as many tastes as we can fit into the container size we choose. Special Fried Rice was different with a lot of corn pieces an no shrimp.

Took the family here for dinner tonight for the first time. I wasn’t expecting anything particularly extraordinary, as it is an all-you-can-eat buffet for a mere $22.90 per adult. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised! There was an excellent selection of varied dishes to choose from, including seafood, chicken, beef & pork, all of which used tender cuts of meat that were juicy & fresh. The vegetables were crisp, not soggy & the food was constantly topped up with fresh batches. It included all of the favorite appetisers, like dim sims, sesame prawn toast & fried dumplings, with the only disappointment being the dried out spring rolls. The all-inclusive price even covers tea & coffee and a self-serve, all you an eat Peters ice cream freezer with 8 flavours!
We will definitely be returning.

My Wife and I went there last night (Easter Sunday) with some friends and we all had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious and All the Staff were very Friendly and Helpful. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great evening.

First time I've gotten food from here and it was just Amazing the food was great!! Staff are super friendly. Best chinese food I've ever had.We got there and ordered barely even had to wait. Big portions and well priced. Highly recommend going here!!

Highly recommend. Beautiful food. You can easily tell that this food has been prepared with love & pride. Best restaurant for this cuisine in this area, by a long, long way. So glad I came across this place. 😋

YES BUFFET WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
The chicken in oyster sauce was bloody beautiful and Tender, We chose the take-away option and all the other things we ordered were really yummy. Staff Were so friendly and accomodating.

Ordered the bbq pork choy mien and it was incredible. I honestly have no idea why people aren't giving this place a 5 star rating.

Great food and friendly staff. Just a the noodle a little salty. But overall delicious. I would come again.

Had takeaway a few times now and impressed with the freshness and flavour. We've found our new Chinese takeaway.

Wow the food was amazing! Please note they no longer do buffet here but none the less some of the best chinese I've ever had.
