Dave is quite honestly one of the most genuine and best individuals to complete a car service for me. Absolutely honest, genuine and willing to go the extra step to ensure the service is of top quality. Can definitely see a difference from his service in comparison to previous mechanics. I can’t thank Dave enough for all the work he has done on my car, absolutely wrapt with the professionalism displayed and the work completed.
Dave also recommend other places in the area and through his network for other services which made me feel incredibly comfortable in all that was recommended and advised. Lifelong customer from all the excellent work. I wish there was more than 5 stars that could be offered.

What an experience. DB Mechanical was recommended in a FB group I am in for Abarth. I wanted to install Apple CarPlay and DBM seemed to be the only option as none of the service stations in my area were able to help me.

It all started very well, dropped the car, got a courtesy car with CarPlay :-) and I headed for a nice morning in the hills. David called me a few hours later and told me that there was an issue, basically he would need to keep my car for a week as something had gone wrong. Of course that came as a bit of a shock, I was given the courtesy car to use and I drove home. The update had not worked and David had to get some new parts and rewrite the code, this would take time as he had never had this issue before.

Here is the though how a great service provider differentiates himself from the masses. I got a call early next morning that the car was ready and everything was fine. How was it possible? I asked him, he told me he does not like failure, he stayed up a good chunk of the previous night, did the research, did the work and got it all sorted, installed and done. What more could I’ve asked?

I did not get charged for the extra work, it was done cleanly, no scratches, no system failures, nothing out of place, it works as expected and his hard work paid off. I am happy and I would recommend David to anyone looking for anyone.

Dave is a master of his craft. Absolutely fantastic person and provides top notch service. First, he took our car in on a busy Saturday afternoon. Then, he gave us a loan car for free for the time it took to fix it. He kept us informed throughout the way of a tricky issue with our DSG transmission.
Dave worked tirelessly to identify and ultimately fix the issue and at a very reasonable price as well. Saved us having to replace the entire transmission, let alone having to possibly buy a new car.
Our cars will not be seen by anyone else from now on in. Could not recommend Dave and his team highly enough. What a legend!

David is a mechanical genius who has the capability to diagnose car problems others find difficult and fix them in a succinct and analytical way. His determination and commitment to serve his clients and fix their cars in an honest and cost effective manner is obvious and paramount. David has now become the only mechanic we would trust to service, diagnose and fix our cars and we would highly recommend him without hesitation.

David Bell is extraordinary, and his feats of diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle issues are incredible! He doesn't just read the "error code", he interprets it in every context, distilling out the actual (often obscure) fault and the most effective solution. Sorted out issues created by another mechanic. Came highly recommended by several friends.

after taking my car to numerous mechanics in the kilsyth area and having the recurring issue being “too hard and/or impossible to fix” i took it down to DBM expecting the same outcome. However, Dave believed that the issue could be remedied and graciously took my car in to see what he could do. Not even 24 hours later i received a call that the car was fixed and it wasn’t for $1000s like other mechanics had quoted.

my car has been perfect ever since and i could not fault a single thing on it. Dave has now become the only mechanic i would ever trust with my cars and i recommend him to every person i know.

his honesty and commitment is beyond the call of duty and if i could give him 6 stars out of 5 i would do it in a heartbeat.

Fantastic place to take your car I won’t take my car anywhere else but to David’s work shop.I was told that I needed a part from another company that will cost me $4000 and David found that it was only my exhaust that was blocked saved me a tonne of money. (he also love biscuits hint hint)

I have had an excellent experience using DBM I cannot recommend dave and his team enough. they have an amazing knowledge base and can fix anything on your vehicle, and if it’s something that they haven’t encountered before, then they make it there business to figure it out and make sure the customer is satisfied.

Dave has been looking after my car for years, and now also services my daughters car. We would never take our cars anywhere else, Dave is incredibly knowledgeable and does an amazing job at a great price. Highly recommend :)

One of the last existing decent mechanics. Gives amazing service. He gives the kind of old fashioned service most people only dream of. Would travel hundreds of miles to get him to work on our car .....and in fact we do. Will go the extra mile.

David is an excellent mechanic and honest and trustworthy to boot which can be rare. He has a great eye for detail and really loves cars which is great for the consumer. I am so glad I found this mechanic he is amazing
