The Sweet Meadow

Wow simply delicious! We had french toast and the oats, with hot chocolates. The atmosphere was really nice inside, with lots of books if you want to sit inside and browse. Outside were tables with people sitting with their furry friend.

Just be warned if it's a cold morning wear warm socks because the temperature inside isn't much different to outside!

Definitely worth a visit!

This cafe is simply amazing! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing.
They really know how to do plant based food very well.
Highly recommend the tofu scramble. It is so much better than any bacon and eggs breakfast!
Will 100% be coming back again.

An excellent plant based cafe in Echuca. They do have some non vegan options ie. Milk and eggs however I prefer to try items aligned with the original intent of this cafe.

I have to say that the tofu scramble mimics eggs very well. It was very impressive. The "kim chi" was less convincing but as a pickled vegetable it was a nice flavour. I'm still not convinced on the smokey strips but it's been a mainstay on their menu for 5 years so I think it must be popular with the regulars.

All in all, this a great, reasonably priced friendly plant based cafe in Echuca.

Every time I'm in Echuca this is the place I head to. The menu has something for everyone, even if you're not a vegan/vegetarian. All of the options are extremely well made and presented, you cant go wrong with any food options with their attention to detail on how it's been put together. Coffee is great, service is friendly, nice relaxed atmosphere.

Such a cute little cafe! I was in town for a wedding & I was so excited to go here! Such an incredible option for both vegans & vegetarians. The staff were so lovely & the food was to die for! Such great options at such an affordable price. It was so lovely seeing it so busy, it is obviously a very popular place & I understand why ❤ to my fellow vegans who are wanting to try this place, just be sure to ask what’s vegan as a lot of things are vegetarian but it seems to me that they can make a vegan alternative for literally everything on the menu! We absolutely love this place. Visit every time we are in Echuca. Fabulous, healthy, and innovative menu. I had a breakfast catch-up today, and the food was delicious. It's great to have so many plant based meals to choose from. Lovely atmosphere and great service too 💚

Friendly service, relaxed and comfortable vibe. Lovely oat milk coffees, crumbed tofu tacos and big breakfast. Fantastic to have so many plant-based options and so delicious. Thanks guys, will visit again when over again from Perth!

Lots of good things to day, excellent service, decor and food. “Simple” clean food just done really well. Mushroom latte was an interesting experience and really quite nice once you get used to it. The hot chocolate was made with real chocolate not the powder. It was a pleasure to find a vegetarian/vegan place to eat at. We usually have to spend a lot of time looking up menus online first.

A real treat. Menu includes vegan, vegetarian and other. Welcoming staff, very pleasant decor and seating options. I had a delicious smoothie, partner had a plant-based burger. Each satisfied. Recommend this cafe.

Loved our brunch here. As someone with a lot of allergies, it's refreshing to have a menu with so many options.

Amazing vegan breakfast place! Acai bowl was delicious, so was the breakfast platter (incl vegan bacon)

Lovely breakfast. I had the French toast and partner had the gnocchi. Also had some Affogatos made for us. We really enjoyed it.

Food here was seriously awesome and full of flavour. Plant based menu (vegan) but even my meat-eating, vegan cafe resistant hubby LOVES the meals here.
Big Breakfast highly recommended, rosemary hash brown sooo good and chutney on side best I've had. (You can buy a jar on your way out too!)

We enjoyed our "brunch meal" at Sweet Meadow. The food was delicious and the service was great. We greatly appreciated our takeaway meals being brought out to us as we sat in a nearby outdoor 'boothstyle seats' as there weren't any 6 spare seats together at that time. It was a beautiful day and the 'sounds of Echuca' (horses & wagon rides and paddle steamers whistling) were a delight to listen to. It was such a joy to see sooo many choices for me on the menu as I can't eat gluten. Thank you to the Sweet Meadow team from Heidi.

Been a long time since I visited this great cafe. Outside on a cool sunny day watching the passing parade of people. Busy so took a while (Easter) but drooling at the look of the Mushroom Toastie and it was very yummy indeed with a Bonsoy flat white coffee (excellent breakfast). Nice look inside and out. Friendly smiling staff too!! Well done to all the team!
