Eggs & Bacon Bay Beach

Took the boat out launched at eggs n bacon beach was beautiful not bad fishing in the bay a few size flatty but better of heading past Mickeys beach to randalls bay beach that's where you will get a glod feed

Gorgeous beach in the Huon Valley Tasmania, as picturesque as its name suggests! Named for the yellow and streaky red flowers native to the area (family Fabaceae) this gem of a beach is 400m long, 300m wide, has a Beachsafe category 1 (least hazardous) & is great for families. About 1 hour drive south of capital Hobart or 11 minutes from the nearest township Cygnet where you can stock up on picnic supplies. Has parking, public toilets, picnic table, boat ramp & wildlife aplenty. Well worth a visit. Dogs are allowed off leash but under control.

Nice quiet spot. 4WD access to beach. Water stays shallow for a good distance. Great beach for families with younger kids. Good to BYO awning or something if shade is needed.

Beautiful safe beach

A very nice place with a great view, but the name is a bit misleading, I did not even see one egg nor bacon. Other than that, pretty good.

Very chilled out spot on a nice drive down the Channel Hwy. Toilet facilities were clean and good. Have to take most things with you, but peaceful with calm water and great views. We took our own bacon eggs and gas cooker to have the full Egg and Bacon Bay experience.
