The food was amazing as well as the atmosphere. The service was fast and they were very polite.

Doesn’t look like much outside, but walk in and be blown away by amazing decor and epic food. Kill a hangover with some ramen. Serenade a date with your chopstick skills this place will not disappoint.

Hidden gem in Enmore. One of the few restaurants that really transports me back to travelling in Japan. Strays away from the flashy interiors and the high end feel that half the Japanese restaurants in Sydney do. But instead provides a rather more homely experience. Perfectly encapsulates Japan

Fairly classic menu, the food is reasonably priced and generous in portions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the experience. Will definitely be back again sometime in the near future. Next time I’m at Enmore theatre I suppose.

We walked in just before closing and we’re welcomed in by the friendly team.
We had some gyoza and Japanese sodas, so delicious! Followed by Don Chicken Katsu and Don Eel, both super delicious and really good portions.
Definitely recommend visiting this cute little gem.

Fantastic authentic dining experience!!

I was visiting the area with my children, and was glad we finally landed on a restaurant with a high chair which other restaurants in the area didn't have, and less of a crowd too, so a sigh of relief!

The menu was quite traditional and humble, not overly fancy, which I liked. The customer service was fantastic, and although the waiter was new and clearly in training it was sweet to see the other wait staff teaching him with great kindness and patience. We got served immediately and it was incredible to see the efficiency at which all of the food came out.

The food was the highlight. Everything was faultlessly delicious😋 I shared a Bento box set with my baby, as well as a mini okonomiyaki, and just for myself I had a spicy tuna roll which was fresh and full of flavour. My baby absolutely loved his miso soup, rice, salmon sashimi, and okonomiyaki, and ended up eating a huge quantity! My friend who is vegan also managed to fill up, with some vegetarian sushi, agedashi tofu without the sauce, salad of some sort (I can't recall), miso soup, etc.

If you like good traditional Japanese food at a very reasonable price in a comfortable and casual atmosphere with an open kitchen you will like this place.

Tasty, fresh Japanese food and super friendly service from all the staff. They have a variety of dishes, everything from appetisers to rolls, sashimi, sushi and noodle dishes.

matcha ice cream is delicious, even cheaper than buying it myself! miso ramen is unexpectedly delicious! fried chicken curry rice is generous but super cheap! sushi rolls are very satisfying, they are so fresh!

Wonderful dining experience one of the bestJapanese restaurants in the inner west. Licensed but only serves beer, BYO wine $3 pp corkage this is such a plus as most restaurants who serve wine charge outrageous prices for a drop of wine. Staff very friendly and obliging. Try it sure you will enjoy! Sharon

Decent food served by friendly staff.
I'm supprised by the taste of the Salmon Don with a great combo of salmon sashimi, avocado and their secret sauce.
I would also recommend the sashimi and chicken karaage.
It was lovely, we enjoyed our dinner here.

We saw this new restaurant in the neighborhood and decided to give it a go. It’s such a cozy little place. The sashimi and sushi’s are so fresh and sake so delicious. My partner is gluten intolerant, so we are really happy to see so many gluten-free options on the menu. This has been the first time he had sushi since he’s been diagnosed with gluten intolerance. 😀 We will definitely be back. Often.

Literally the best Udon I have ever tasted in my entire life. Reminds me exactly of Japan. I once went to a little restaurant designed very simmilar to this in Tokyo, and this Udon here tastes exactly like the one I had there. Very generous serving as well. The soup is creamy yet flavourful and very light. The noodles are divine, and the teryikaki beef it comes with is so juicy and mouth watering.

The waitress that has the glasses and curly hair tied back is an absolute delight. She is so kind and thoughtful and caring and provides exceptional customer service. The kitchen staff are also wonderful, genuine people. I cannot express how much I adore this place and how greatful I am I came here. Literally a taste of Japan, the food, the atmosphere, the decor, and the people. 😊💙💜
