Tasmanian Garlic and Tomato Festival

The festival occurs on a farm in addition to growing nearly every variety of tomato possible they are heirloom and offer tours of the farm that are very educational. The volunteers are friendly and even announced our lost monster truck over the speakers. Entry is prepaid preferred

I go every year. The atmosphere is vibrant, the stalls are varied and exciting, the information sessions are too numerous to only spend a few hours. We entered one of the competitions. We bought and ate so many good things. The best festival close to Launceston. A MUST DO! Wish it was held twice a year.

Somewhat dissapointing this year. No tom tastings, cooking demo could not hear the two chefs. Food stalls, not tomato or garlic themed. Not much musical entertainment. And need more seating. I've gone every year they have had it, and this was most disappointing. The height light was the fellow with saffron ice cream tasting. I do not normally compare, but Koonya garlic is so much better. I dont think I will go again to selbourne . Needs to really lift their game . Sorry
