Loved every second of our stay at Spicers Peak Lodge! The service was brilliant (big thank you to Sarah & Jiordy, absolute stars), the food was incredible and the wine pairings were spot on every time. The location is just unbelievably stunning. We'll be coming back in the future again 11 out of 10.

This is a wonderful place to start relaxing as soon as you arrive. The service and attention to detail was wonderful, food and drink quality was outstanding too, but the best part of the absolute tranquility of the resort.

Spicers is an expensive place to go but for important events to be shared, it is great value. The food, staff, excursions and location will make it a memorable and enjoyable time.

I've stayed at several of the Spicers properties. Their staff are so well selected and trained - they create a pervasive sense of casual luxury that is hard to find. They give the impression they are all there to make you feel comfortable and well looked after. At Spicers Peak that is taken to another level. The resort is beautiful, the food is great but the thing that makes it so special is the team. At every turn one of their band of enablers will be there to offer you a drink.
It's a perfect spot for a special birthday, anniversary or luxury getaway.

Tips:
-leave the fancy car at home, the last 12km is rough with gravel and potholes. It's 2WD accessible but only just.
-leave your fancy shoes at home. It's a working cattle farm with all that goes with that. Some people dressed up but jeans were fine at dinner.
-arrive early and have (free) lunch before your 2pm check in
-ask for a sunset picnic at one of the many lookouts
-dress warm. It's cold up on the plateau.

I have entrusted spices peak lodge with celebrating two most important moments of my life. Our proposal and an our honeymoon. They have surpassed our wildest expectations on each occasion. I could not think of a better place to visit and cannot wait to return.

Stunning location, all inclusive lodge that met our expectations for a luxury stay. Plenty of activities to keep us busy whilst affording plenty of relaxing spots to chill out. Walks were lovely, mountain biking was challenging for us amateurs and the pool / spa was enjoyable. Very well fed with all meals beautifully prepared and additional bites through the day at request. The inclusive wine list was extensive and if you're after premium drops, there is a good selection too. The lodge is close to 20 years old but is very well maintained and does not feel dated.

An experience you will remember for a lifetime. Imagine the most amazing service, food beyond compare and a level of serenity beyond imagining. So many details that alone are compelling: fireplace in the room, food to die for, heated spa and tastefully fitted facilities to nourish the soul. My tip is to start the experience with a massage .. total bliss

It was difficult to fault anything about our experience at spicers peak lodge. The accomodation & surrounding land was breathtaking, however it was the service that took our stay to the next level. The staff at spicers were amazing and every small detail was taken care of. We will be returning in the future.

We could not recommend Spicers Peak Lodge enough. It has exceeded all of our expectations. We were lucky enough to have our wedding here with our friends and family over two days, and then an extra couple nights together as a married couple. The staff were incredible during our entire stay. They bend over backwards to ensure everything is absolutely perfect, and their calm and friendly nature is above and beyond the 5 star service that they promote. A few special team members who made our wedding magical were Martin, Bianca, Sharron, Tiarna, Stefanie, Richard and Alec. We can't wait to come back!

We have just returned from a two night stay at Spicers Peak Lodge to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived until departing everything was faultless. The staff were all professional and welcoming, the food was fabulous, great selection of wines, the lodge itself beautiful and all in the most stunning setting. We could not recommend Spicers Peak Lodge more highly and look forward to visiting again soon.

Many thanks to Martin and his wonderful team for a perfect and memorable stay.

The venue speaks for itself. Let’s talk food: Tonight’s meal had so many ‘bests’ for us. Best fresh oyster dish. Best wagyu dish. Best paired wines. Just when you thought Spicers couldn’t get any better…they do. Of course. I would expect no less from Jude and Skroo Turner. Will miss you guys and your magic. Oh PS. All under the expert and watchful eye of Malcolm. Well done team! 💫

My husband and I spent 4 amazing nights at Spicers Peak Lodge for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived Martin greeted us and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. This service by Martin was consistent and of high standard the whole time. The whole experience was exceptional we were blown away. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by a night and we are so glad we did. I had a beautiful massage by Camille as well and she was so lovely to talk to. Also a shout out to all the other staff including Alec, Richard, Stefanie, Bianca, Tiana and Teresa, as well as the chefs and anyone I’ve missed whose service we could not fault. Every single person we dealt with went out of their way to ensure we had a smooth and enjoyable time. Hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had and places we’ve ever been to.

I cannot fault our stay at Spicers Peak. This experience was a big splurge for us and I was worried that I wouldn't have been able to justify the cost at the end of the stay... I was proven wrong within the first few hours!
The incredibly warm and down-to-earth welcome the minute we stepped over the threshold with a glass of champagne and a valet to park the car and unpack our luggage... I felt like a celebrity! Our room was upgraded to the Lodge Suite - very spacious, an incredibly comfortable bed and views out over the Scenic Rim range. The cleanliness of the room on our arrival and also the room refreshment each morning (including even 're-stacking' our fire place!) is a reflection of an efficient and incredibly professional housekeeping service.
We signed up for the afternoon walk across the plateau with Tamika, a passionate woman with an impressive level of knowledge about the local flora and fauna. I loved hearing about how the team at Spicers Peak Lodge work towards supporting the ecosystems on their land and ensure environmental stability. We also went on the mountain e-bike tracks - not for the faint hearted but so much fun! Returning after our mountain bike adventure to a crisp G&T and our delicious degustation dinner courtesy of the incredibly talented Chef Dean and his team... the only complaint - not sure how I'll ever stay anywhere else ever again! I'm a Spicers convert now...
